The carpet was VERY dirty. Condo looked worn as well. Water was in the master bedroom tub- not sure why. For the amount we paid it should have been nicer. Location was good. Also never received check in instructions until the day of. I had emailed several times and they indicated 72-24 hours before. It was only several hours before. You also had to get an actual key, no code. Wouldn't stay again.

Outstanding!

We usually rent cabins, but were extremely impressed with the privacy and beautiful views from this condo. It was clean, quiet, steps from the parking lot, and the office employees were fabulous. Great weekend!

Weekend Getaway to the Mountains

The location is just perfect for fun around PF and Gatlinburg and the staff is exceptional! Some of the units are dated and could use some TLC, but overall we didn't sign up or pay for a 5 star, but it sure comes close! We don't plan on staying anywhere else going forward - accommodations are spacious and the pools are a great plus for the grandkids...I can't say enough about the exceptional management team! They always bend over backwards to help us get the most out of our visit and that is greatly appreciated. I've never submitted a review before but feel I owe it to WP after so many great times; it seems to be the best-kept secret in town!

Reviewer Comments: We stayed in room 214,,,,, and in all our years of staying at whispering pines , we never had complaints until NOW..... the room smelled terrible and the carpet was very dirty and the tile on the floors had a film ,like poor cleaning film and the patio door was so hard to push open it almost came out every time.....and the patio door blinds opener always fell off if you touched many NEEDED repairs...the couch needed cleaning etc

One of the main reasons we come back multiple times a year is due to the cleanliness and professionalism of the staff. I do feel however, that in recent years, the support has been a little disappointing. We cannot check in until 4 pm (we pay for this day) it is not fair that we cannot check in until 4. I understand cleaning needs to take place but one way to accommodate us would be to allow us a late check-out. All we needed was an hour and you would not allow it. Very disappointing.
