We never got to stay at the location as the owner let the property run out of propane and the first nights low was supposed to be 20 degrees. Luckily for us, the cleaners noticed this while getting the property ready, and contacted Vacasa management. Vacasa was able to find us another location in the area.Needless to say, there is nothing as fun as being 2 hours from the locations after driving 10 hours to find this out.

Fantastic getaway cabin!
Two Bears was absolutely beautiful! The home was pristine and had everything we needed. The views were amazing! The driveway is a little intimidating the first time going up, but gets easier each time! (Definitely need 4WD) We will definitely be back!

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback about your stay. We are truly sorry to hear that our home did not meet your expectations regarding cleanliness and the hot tub's condition. This is certainly not the experience we aim to provide our guests. We will notify our local team about the unmade beds, trash, and towels on the floor so they can address these issues promptly. Regarding the hot tub, we will ensure that our local team looks into it as well. Your comfort and satisfaction are very important to us, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve these matters. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope you will give us the opportunity to host you again.
The cabin was beautiful and view was amazing, but that driveway is yikes! Very steep and curvy even with four wheel drive it’s bad. Unless you have a lot of experience with very steep unpaved roads don’t recommend trying it.

Cabin needs a "deep cleaning"
Upon arrival, the cabin appeared clean. We arrived at night. Throughout our stay, I noticed toothpasted above the sink in the Master Bath, food debrie above the kitchen sink, and the area behind the burners on the stove was quite dirty. I am also sad to say that on the last day, I had well over a dozen "bites" on my legs, arms, front and back torso....I think the Master bedroom mattress may have bed bugs. I apologize for the delay in relating this information. I was hoping to avoid putting it on a public site.

Minimal info
The cabin was simply beautiful! The view from the deck, breathtaking! The kitchen was top notch. Unfortunately, there were no instructions to accompany the cabin that had helpful information prior to our stay or upon arrival like we had hoped for. (Example: kitchen had a Keurig and a Lavazza latte maker but there were no pods available to make said coffee or even notice in advance of those options to bring your own.) we had minimal towels (3 dirty ones left from previous) unsure what to do with our trash and the kitchen floor didn’t appear to be swept at all.
Overall, our stay was very nice but more information would have been a lot more helpful! The heated floors were a nice surprise as well!
The heads up on needing 4wheel drive was greatly appreciated and we even had some challenges in our 4Runner!

Hi Nicole. Thank you for your review. We're delighted to hear how much you enjoyed our home and the fantastic view from the deck. Please know we have followed up with our housekeeping staff to ensure they are being more thorough and have notified our local team of the need for some added information to the home. Thank you again for staying with us. You were terrific guests. We hope that you'll come stay again soon.
Can't give a rating since we never made it. Out truck couldn't get up the hill. Responded to a text asking if we made it, saying no truck couldn't make it & didn't hear another word until we got a text asking if we were ready to check out. Wife didn't catch statement on awd/fwd needed. I called VRBO prior to leaving & was told it was just curvy & awd/fwd was not needed. Turns out that was a false statement & a very expensive lesson for us.

Nice Home but Needs Improvement
We loved this location and the home was nice for the amenities it had to offer. Unfortunately, there was an overwhelming musty, mildew smell immediately upon entering the house. I don't have a very sensitive nose so for me to have noticed is noteworthy. It was clear that this has been an issue for some time since we noticed multiple plug in air fresheners, odor absorbers, and other types of odor reducing things throughout the house. We were unable to stay in a room without the windows and doors open to allow some of the odor to escape but it was still noticeable. We were there for two nights and all of our clothes and suitcases seemed to have picked up the smell so we will need to let those things air out/be cleaned at home. If it weren't for the smell, I think this home has great potential to be a wonderful vacation home. There were several small things that needed attention as well (broken/missing screen doors, broken stove knob, nails/screws exposed in loft area, etc). We did enjoy the hot tub, air hockey, Foosball, pool table, trails, the many places to have a fire, the views, the bear decorations, the TVs, and the layout of the cabin was nice. I think there does need to be more emphasis in the house listing on the fact that 4WD is needed in order to get up the driveway.

Outing with best friends! We had a blast! Thanks for sharing your mountain home!
We enjoyed our stay very much overall. The cabin is beautiful and the view is worth every penny. Everyone is talking about the driveway, so I figured I would too. AWD is NOT required. Sure, it is steep, but you can make it. I got up with no problem in a Toyota Avalon FWD.
Complaints. If I have to nit-pick on the stay, there were a few items we discovered, and would consider them to be an inconvenience. The wifi is dreadfully slow and pretty much unusable. I measured it as 0.3 Gbps download and 0.00 upload. The gas fireplace in the main bedroom was not working. The air-hockey table in the basement was not working. The bedroom fan lights stopped working, not enough seating inside or outside for a 10-person place, and no full-length mirror for the ladies.
We also couldn't start a wood fire easily. There was no provided wood and wood for purchase in the area was scarce.
Overall, 4+ stars! The view is worth it all and the cabin was still very cozy.

Best part is the view…
The view is by far the best part of this place. Like others have said, the driveway is a little scary and AWD is a must. We had some cleanliness issues which we didn’t find until later, there were dirty dishes with food in them in the cabinets! The hot tub was dirty, so we had to clean it ourselves. The cabin is nice but it needs a deep cleaning. The beds are super firm memory foam. The cookware was ok but not great. Very low water pressure. We lost power for 6 hours one night due to an outage in the area and the generator at the cabin never came on so we lost most of the food in the refrigerator. We communicated this to the property manager but they never followed up. Overall we enjoyed our stay because of the location and view from the deck. There was lots to do and explore in and around Franklin.

Incredible views
Beautiful rural home with multiple mountainous views. Home has everything you need and more. 4 wheel drive is a must with the driveway, but provides and adventurous ride with tons of wildlife, scenery, and privacy of being removed from life’s hustle. Perfect home for a nice relaxing getaway.

OMG, idk why more people aren’t talking about the heated floors! ❤️ Based on others reviews, the driveway was as expected. So cozy and welcoming inside, really didn’t want to leave to do anything while we were there! We really didn’t have a problem with WiFi like others reported. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals and I really want their fridge and stove/oven!!
Cabin was great! Only issue is gas was low so we didn’t have heat the first night/ day. Gas fireplace was non functional in the master bedroom. Otherwise stay was excellent! Would recommend a true outdoor fire pit as well. Thanks!
It was so beautiful, getting the right temperature was a bit tricky. We also believe there may have been a dead rodent in the spare room, could happen anywhere though. Game table didn't work. This cabin was very beautiful with full kitchen. We were so happy to see it decorated beautifully for Christmas also!
It was a great cabin, beautiful scenery, but the road up to the cabin was scary. My two wheel drive Ford F-150 could not make the turn up to the cabin. Four wheel drive is a must.
