The house was very clean and accommodating for the size. Parking could have been a bit deeper as it sits on somewhat busy street. All in all the place was comfortable.
I feel that cookware was in need of replacement, i.e., scratched teflon, pans that had seen many years of service etc. Cutlery, dishes, glasses very nice and abundant. Kitchen comfortable to work in, kitchen tablechairs a bit crowded. Bedrooms very comfortable, clean, quiet.Overall homey feel, excellent location !

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the comfortable bedrooms, well-stocked kitchen, homey feel, and especially the location.
We appreciate the note about the cookware as well. We replace items like pots and pans on a regular annual cycle, but with the amount of use they receive from guests, they can definitely take a beating between replacements. We’ll take another look at the current set and replace any pieces that are showing excessive wear.
Thanks again for staying with us and for sharing both the positives and the areas where we can continue to improve!
I’m not here to bash a property but the flood lights kept going on all night and the light comes right through the window. Also, we didn’t know about someone living on the property until I saw the car and asked. I was told that I should have read her documents. I think this should have been disclosed in the description of the property. Other than that, it was fine.

Thank you for the feedback. We are sorry the exterior flood lights disturbed you during the night, and we will review their positioning and settings to reduce light entering the windows.
We do want to clarify the comment that another resident on the property was not disclosed. This information is disclosed multiple times in the listing itself, not just in separate documents.
The very first sentence describes the accommodation as a “4BR main-level apartment.” The listing repeatedly refers to the accommodation as a “unit,” states that the patio is shared, and the property address itself includes a unit number.
Most importantly, the listing includes a specific disclosure stating:
“Note: This is a top main floor level unit in a DUPLEX, with a separate long-term resident in the basement apt unit. Fully separate units with separate private entrances, separate dedicated parking, and shared use of the backyard.”
This specifically discloses that the property is a duplex, that this reservation is for the top/main-floor unit, that a long-term resident occupies the separate basement apartment, that both units have private entrances and dedicated parking, and that only the backyard is shared.
This arrangement has also been understood and referenced by numerous previous guests in their reviews, so it has not been hidden from guests.
We certainly understand that a duplex setup may not be every guest’s preference, but we make a point of describing it clearly so guests can make an informed decision before booking. Aside from the lighting concern, we are glad to hear the remainder of the stay was fine.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the location.
The home does have some original character, and we are continuously working on updates and maintenance to keep everything in great condition while preserving its charm. We appreciate you pointing this out and will keep improving the space for future guests.
Overall, we had a great stay. The location is unbeatable for quick access to big and little cottonwood canyons. Nice to have a washer and dryer. It is also a rare find for four bedrooms with queen beds. The house is a bit old and parking with my larger truck was a challenge in the provided parking space. If you are a large group or family and prioritize sleeping capacity and , this is a good option.
Great location close to all the ski areas beds comfortable shower hot and powerful great kitchen and living room. Perfect for my family
Would stay here again
