Host allowed us to check in earlier and was very helpful trying to rectify any issues we had. Location was great. The houseboat was definitely in need of some TLC though and had seen better days!
First of all, it's a boat. Some people may not understand the compromises that entials, but for those that do, this is a great place to stay. The location was over-the-top fabuluous and we caught nice fish right off the fantail.

Yvonne was wonderful and made our family vacation on the boat feel effortless from start to finish. The boat was very well stocked with all the necessities—coffee, towels, and everything we needed to be comfortable. The location is absolutely prime, close to almost everything, which made getting around easy. We also loved the live music from Guanabanas next door; it added to the atmosphere and never interfered with bedtime. I did see a comment about the age of the boat, and while it isn’t brand new, it was cozy, well cared for, and clearly loved. Yvonne is constantly updating it and adding new touches, which really shows. We’d happily stay again.

Thank you very much. I am pleased you and your family enjoyed your stay.
A perfect family or couples getaway if you are looking for something out of the ordinary. The location is perfect with everything you need in walking distance including the beautiful beach. We caught so many fish right off the boat my son was in his glory. Exploring on the kayaks was an additional plus. My husband and I loved the vintage Floridian charm of the boat. The master bedroom has the most comfortable bed and the couch was equally cozy. Yvonna was an amazing host extremely accessible, helpful and funny to boot! READ THE GUEST MANUAL! Something we should have done before asking unnecessary questions.!lol Now we know our way around this lovely house boat and can’t wait for our next stay! If you’re looking for a chill, low key and fun experience this is it!
I cannot say enough good things about this adventure! Check-in was the easiest ever. Beautiful and peaceful area with friendly people. The boat was clean and comfy and well stocked. Incredible sunrise and be able to walk out in the morning and start fishing was an added bonus! Best sleep in ages. We will definitely be back!

Thank you Terry We are glad you had a great time! Come back and see us again as we strive to make each experience unique.
Nice. Loud Friday & Saturday nite with band and music at restaurant next door. Super convenient location. This is a houseboat, with small spaces for 2 toilets, and old school pumps…
For father and adult son weekend trip this was fun.

Our property is original an 'Florida Cracker'. We love having guests book our waterfront properties, and we are dedicated to providing a (cottage/boat/rv) that will provide a nice break from daily life.
Our online reputation has been very good. We are fortunate to have abundant guest loyalty and guests ’ return time and time again.
Yvonne’s houseboat was well appointed with many convenient features - good shades for privacy and sun control, localized fans for cooling and very comfortable beds and sheets. We loved her kayak and listening to the live music coming from nearby Guanabanas.
What you need to understand is this is a boat and has boat plumbing - with all that it entails.

Jupiter house boat
Views great.. very very convenient to walk to restaurants.deli etc. Could be updated ..less clutter..BIG BED AND COMFY....2nd bedroom misleading its a crawl space none of my visitors would stay there. A rather large person would have trouble walking on the narrow side of boat for entry or to go to the LOVELY decks. I had to leave early due to no cems bugs..I was bitten alive..and possible smell on boat..A C and fan works GREAT but boat does get very hot in the afternoon.. needs better direction re: television....It was an experience..like camping on the water...if you don't get bit by bugs easily ..this maybe your place...

Pat had an unusual stay. This is house boat, not a house and not a motel/hotel. It is unique in design and charming character. The AC works fine. It is South Florida. You may need the AC on and or the fans. Typically there is a soft breeze on the water. Most guests keep the windows open. As for bugs... you are on the water! No seums come out at dusk. There is replent should you need it. April 10th a new septic system was installed. There is no smell.
Had a really great time on the houseboat. Super relaxing and an amazing location. Only bad thing I can think of was the AC in the master bedroom is super loud but if you keep the bedroom door open the main AC does a good enough job to cool the place down. It was a good experience and would definitely rent again.

Beautiful scenery with peace and quiet ......boat living is different from home
This property is located in a wonderful location with lots of activities, food in walking distance....the view from the boat is so peaceful and beautiful with water on 3 sides. The property is in need of some upgrading ....the bath and bedrooms are typical of a smaller boat and therefore small. Living , dining and kitchen space was very comfortable........Owners were very accomodating ......

About the host
Hosted by Yvonne and Dominic Addairo
I grew up in the hospitality world long before it became an industry. My parents lovingly restored an 1865 brick Victorian Italianate home, and our family of six lived there most of the year. When summer arrived and travelers flocked to Cooperstown for the Hall of Fame and the slow, timeless rhythm of small‑town life, we tucked ourselves into a few back rooms so guests could enjoy the four grand bedrooms upstairs. Everyone shared a single bathroom with a magnificent old copper tub—a true relic of another era.
Summer meant chores, and mine were the kind that stay with you for life: stripping and making beds with crisp corners, dusting the long two‑story baluster staircase, and vacuuming the wall‑to‑wall carpeting until every path felt fresh again. Those early lessons shaped me. Cleanliness wasn’t a task—it was a welcome. A properly made bed wasn’t decoration—it was care.
I’ve now called Jupiter home for more than 30 years. I’m an author and the creator of Explorers Vacation Club, a collection of three distinctive short‑term rentals on my property—each one designed to offer guests a taste of Old Florida charm, coastal breezes, and the kind of hospitality that comes from a lifetime of living it.
If your group is larger than the houseboat can accommodate, you’re welcome to expand your stay with one of our additional, truly one‑of‑a‑kind spaces:
2019 RV – sleeps four+ with one bath, perfect for families or extra guests
Legend, our 1915 antique boat – sleeps two, on land.
Their locations are shown clearly on the map, each offering its own flavor of Florida’s coastal magic.
Why they chose this property
On the water! Private back deck. Everything is close; churches, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and the beach. Yet, we live in a tranquil tropical type setting which makes our place unique. TRAVELING NURSES: CLOSEST HOSPITALS Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center 1.91 miles away
West Palm Beach Vamc 3.92 miles away
St Marys Medical Center 4.19 miles away

What makes this property unique
Living under a live oak hammock on a scenic river bank creates the prefect relax location of our house boat. It sits far enough away from A1A/Ocean Blvd that it becomes hidden from the outside world. Experience Old Florida as it use to be. A slice of Paradise Found.
TRANSPORTATION: You can fly into two airports. The closest is West Palm Beach PBI, then take a 20 minute uber ride to Sea Chateau. Or fly into Fort Lauderdale for less money, but then you would have to rent a car or take a 60 mile uber ride. Use Zeek's 6 -seater golf-cart taxi if you don't care to walk. He works for tips only ! Bikes for rent on property.
