The Franklin Ranch Hunter's Cabin - 35 Minutes from Texas A&M football!


The Franklin Ranch Hunter's Cabin is located in rural Robertson County on a sprawling Central Texas Ranch.

The ranch offers simple cabin style accommodations, just minutes from the Franklin Ranch Baseball Complex. 

Pet-friendly cabin sleeps up to five in two bedroom, one bathroom on a large Texas ranch. We are only 35 minutes from Texas A&M and Bryan-College Station.

The property offers a spacious living area with reclining couch and love seat, streaming capable smart TV, galley-style kitchen and an outdoor seating area.  A gas Barbeque grill and outdoor picnic area. Free parking on site.

Kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, range, oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Pots, pans, dishes and utensils are also included.

Cabin includes a bunkroom with bunk beds and a second private room outfitted with a double bed. 

Bedroom 1 - Bunkroom has 3 twin sized bunks beds a full size futon/sleeper sofa.

Bedroom 2 - Master Bedroom offers a single double bed and an available playpen or crib for our very youngest guests.

Perfect accommodations for the traveler who wishes to wind down in the peace and serenity of the country.

Property can be booked as a stand-alone property or in conjunction with our larger property, the Landry Ranch Vacation Home and Oma's Haus. The cabin is just a few minutes walk from the larger property making it ideal as an overflow property.

The cabin is equipped with hotspot based WiFi, so although you can update your social media accounts, browse the web and stream; it's is not ideal for gaming or telecommuting. 

Smart TV equipped. The smart tv allows streaming and has access to many local broadcast stations.

Property is outfitted with an outdoor kennel that measures 5' wide X 10' long X 6' tall. .  

If you are ready to relax and unplug, this is the spot for you.

Nothing fancy but extremely functional and convenient. Cabin is tidy and A/C keeps it cool. Owners provide thoughtful personal touch and were very accommodating.

The Ranch was absolutely beautiful. The home had every amenity that we could have possible needed. The host’s communication was outstanding and he was very attentive to our needs! It was very peaceful sitting on the swing and enjoying the deer. We will definitely be back to stay again in the future. Highly Recommend!

July 4th Little Reunion

Upon our arrival was a welcome gift of beautiful cookies! There was also cornhole boards for outside which we weren't able to use due to the weather. Soo thoughtful! Got to visit with my mom, sister, cousin & her boyfriend, along with my nephew & his uncle. My mom & sister don't live far and they came to visit. It's a pet friendly place so of course I brought my boys!! The weather wasn't great but the place was clean, very relaxing and peaceful! It is small cabin but enough room for those that stayed the night. The owner was awesome and responded quickly to any and all questions I had. The gas grill was wonderful. We had ribs, sausage, chicken and a ton of sides!!! If you are looking for a quiet place off the beat & path...this is the place for you!!! Thanks again Jon & Erica for sharing your little piece of paradise. I will be back!

My wife and I are high school sweethearts that fell in love with the country life. We met in 1999 and were married in 2002. We moved back to our home town and built our home and life there. In 2018, we welcomed our first child into the world. In 2020 we were blessed again, when God gave us a beautiful little boy. We spend our days doing everything we can to spoil both of them!

We recognize how blessed we are to live in a small town and to get to enjoy the slower pace of country life. We love to hunt, fish and travel. Our love of hunting and travel has taken us to 3 countries and 48 states.

We welcome you to come on out and enjoy the ranch life!

Why they chose this property

My wife and I are the owner/managers of the Larger Landry Ranch Vacation Home in the Franklin Area. As much as we lover the larger property, it is not financially feasible for many families. We hope that we can offer this smaller property at a great price point and still provide the exceptional service we are known for at the Landry Ranch Vacation Home.

What makes this property unique

This project is our chance to share our home town with everyone! We are offering a much more cost effective form of lodging but trying to blow away our customers with a great experience. Give us a try and let us try and see if you appreciate our southern hospitality!
