About this property

Nestled on Oak Creek in the heart of Cornville AZ just minutes from Sedona, Jerome, Old Town Cottonwood, many wineries and more. This 3 Bed 2 Bath home has enough beds to sleep 8. You will also have available a pack and play for those with babies. You will enjoy crossing a babbling stream that parts the backyard foliage from the orchard as you continue en route to your private Oak Creek access. Deer, hummingbirds, owls, gophers and other friendly wildlife are commonly seen along the way. Amenities include: Roku TVs, private salt-water spa, fire pit, outdoor dining table, hammock under a willow canopy , children's playhouse, & BBQ grill.

This is the perfect retreat to disconnect from the world, reconnect with friends and loved ones, and rejuvanate. There is intentionally NO WIFI (ultra low EMF) and Cornville has very limited cell service, however we do have the home wired for internet access in most rooms and a land-line phone for your convenience. Etherenet adapters provided for your convenience.

To help free your mind and relax, safety and security measures include a completely fenced property with motorized gate entry, multiple outdoor security cameras, and comprehensive indoor security systems complete with motion, fire, and smoke sensors.

Gorgeous place, great stay

Amy's house was a great place for our family. It was very clean and the layout worked well for five people. The house itself is highly organized and the artwork throughout is just gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed not having WiFi or phone reception for a few days and were easily able to use the Ethernet connection when we needed it. We didn't have a lot of questions for Amy but she was extremely responsive and friendly when we texted. Thank you Amy!

Perfect vacation getaway

We absolutely loved this property. The home was so spacious inside and felt very comfortable to stay in. The kitchen had everything we needed. The kids loved the game room! The backyard was outstanding. We hung out in the hammock and hot tub every day. The only bad thing was saying goodbye to this home. Hope to stay again.

Very clean and comfortable home with a wonderful back yard!

My family stayed at this great house for five nights during our visit to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. We usually stay at resorts but decided to try something different this time. This home exceeded our expectations and we were all very glad we made the decision to stay there. The house is very comfortable and spacious, located in a peaceful and quiet area, an easy 20-25 minute drive to downtown Sedona and two hours from the Grand Canyon. It is clean and very well kept. The home is nicely decorated; the kitchen is very well stocked with quality equipment. Loved the organic condiments and cleaning products! The bedrooms had comfortable mattresses and linens. The bathrooms were stocked with quality shampoo and conditioner, soap and lotion as well as plush towels. There is plenty of space to gather but there are also areas to retreat from the group if you choose to. The library had several books that we enjoyed browsing during our stay as well as fun board games to play; Jenga was our favorite! As stated, there is extremely limited cell phone reception in the house and no wi-fi, however, we were able to connect our laptops to the internet as a few of us had to do some work while there. The back yard was one of our favorite spots. The creek is very relaxing, and the hammock was enjoyed by all. We used the grill to cook dinner several evenings and had a wonderful time in the hot tub and fire pit at night. Last but not least, Amy, our host was excellent to work with! She is a great communicator and was extremely responsive to all of our needs. She provided detailed information regarding the house, as well as recommendations for places to visit and eat. Thank you Amy for being an amazing host, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful!

This place was perfect for our family! The house was very nice, clean, and very comfortable beds! Having the showers stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, was perfect! Highly recommend!

Fantastic, very well equipped home, large property, great location!

Our stay at this property was perfect! We had a total of 6 staying at Amy's home and were very pleased with the layout, sleeping arrangements, bathrooms, very well equipped kitchen and gorgeous yard and outside eating area. We enjoyed walks on the property that went all the way back to the river which was a very special treat. While enjoying the hot tub one early morning, was also visited by a mule deer who passed through the yard! This was our first time traveling to Arizona, so were very pleased with the location as it was a great hub to go to all the local towns of Jerome, Sedona, Clarkdale, Cottonwood and Cornville. We also went to Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon! Amy was very responsive to any and all questions and promptly responded to our inquires as we were planning our trip. I highly recommend this location and would stay here again!

Hi, my name is Amy and I am thrilled that you are interested in our Cornville retreat. I live in Scottsdale full time with my family. This is a relatively new home for me (late 2020) which I wanted to provide my son with a lush yard to play in and so that the family had a little vacation retreat. The minute I pulled up to the property I knew it was "the one". There is private/direct access to Oak Creek through the back gate. You will see the trampled down beds next to the creek made by the deer that frequent the property!

Why they chose this property

Everyone that visits our home comments on its amazing energy. We love the sound of the running water from the small stream behind the house (which is used to irrigate the orchard) and enjoy looking at the stars in the dark sky while relaxing by the fire pit or from the hot tub.

What makes this property unique

There are actually two homes on the property, one of which is rented to long term tenants. The main home (this listing) has private access to the rear of the property including Oak Creek, the gardens and orchard, the playhouse, salt-water spa, patio dining, fire pit, and grill.
