Very cool lodge and nice stay. Only negative is not a lot around the area by way of restaurants or anything to do. That said, quiet place and pet friendly. Good time!

Sounds like a nice weekend at our property! Somerset does offer many local winter activities including hiking and snowboard/skiing nearby, but it is true that restaurant options are limited. We are glad you enjoyed your stay!
This property is a perfect distance from both Hidden Valley and Seven Springs. Home is clean and perfect for both small families and large groups. Yard was great for outdoor play.

Had a great weekend with friends and it was perfect for the 5 of us. It was very clean. The beds were nice. Some nice new amenities. It was easy to work with the property manager as well.
We had a great time at the cabin. The location was perfect for visiting Seven Springs, Kentuck Knob, Falling Water, kayaking and many other outdoor activities. We took the path over to Kooser park with our dogs in the morning. In the evening we played board games and watched movies. I worked a few days from the cabin and the WiFi was stable and never had an issue. The owners were friendly and everything went well.

Thank you for staying with us and providing a guest review. We certainly appreciate it. The location of this cabin is hard to beat--close to everything and yet still tucked away. The walking path to the Kooser State Park makes a great walking path for pets! So, glad you found and enjoyed that. The WiFi Internet here is actually very good---a perfect property feature of those that have to work a little bit while on a getaway!
Nice, quiet property close to a great little state park.
Cabin was very cozy, quiet, and had all the imenities including a washer and dryer, whirlpool tub, and wifi internet. The deck was large with tables and chairs and the interior was beautifully decorated to give you the feeling of a real country cabin. The outdoor fire pit allowed us to make mountain pies and toasted marshmallows. The lower path led right to the neighboring state park with a nice lake full of fish. Well worth the money and we greatly enjoyed our time there!

We rented this house for our wedding party to get ready at and for us to have a little mini honeymoon after the big day.
The house is stunning. There is so much to look at inside and its truly unique. Very rustic, extremely cozy!
My bridal party and I had plenty of room to get ready and some amazing views to take pictures. We are so grateful to the owners and highly reccomend this property!

We had a very nice stay at this property with our family. The amenities were just as described in the listing. Take dish towels though. There was nothing to dry dishes with as there in no dishwasher. Overall we were very pleased.

Glad to hear that your enjoyed your stay at our Kooser Lodge, in spite of the missing kitchen towels. We will definitely be sure to set them out for future guests as they should definitely be there, especially, since there is no dishwasher. Thank you for the feedback.
Very nice, cozy property. We enjoyed the fireplace. The beds were comfortable. It was a nice experience. The taxidermy was a little excessive, but that is personal taste. The only complaint was the stairs and entrance to the home were slippery (there was freezing rain and snow). Salt and shovel would have been very helpful. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The house is unique. Taxidermy everywhere. A coyote protecting the front door. Living spaces were comfortable in the great room. 3 bedrooms weee perfect for us. Kitchen had all we needed. Driveway was muddy and we see why a 4 wheel drive is important.

Yes, indeed this home does have a unique mountain feel to it and it's photographed as it is. Lots of professional mounts inside the home--and yes, with a coyote "protecting" the front door! Glad to hear that you found our cabin comfortable in the great room. Thank you for the shout out on the need for AWD/4WD for other guests--we agreed this is always best at this property!
