Enjoy seabreezes and a partial ocean view while rocking on the porch of this newly renovated, classic 1940's beach cottage, located at No. 3 East Asheville Street. You will find our location ideal with a quick 3 minute, 1/2 block walk to the beach, or a short 5 block walk to the center of town, to enjoy shopping & local dining! For those who love to fish, Mercer's pier is just a 5 block walk to the north. Eagle's Nest features a warm and comfortable "at home" feeling with wood floors and cedar paneling in this top floor suite. A newly renovated, fully equipped kitchen, with all new appliances and a seated bar opens to the living room and dining area. This top floor suite offers three comfortable bedrooms comprised of two bedrooms with Queen beds and one with Twins. The single bath features a new porcelain tub and tiled shower, with a newly tiled floor. Eagle's Nest accommodates up to six adults comfortably. For larger groups this top floor suite can be combined and rented with the main floor suite, "Captain's Quarters", as a whole house rental- ideal for larger family gatherings. The two floors connect via a central spiral stairway. If rented individually, the door to the spiral stairway remains locked. The first floor suite, "Captain's Quarters" is named for the nautical feel evoked by the rope-wrapped central spiral stair and spacious main floor atmosphere. Please see our separate listing on VRBO-2314292. Each floor is 1100 square feet, with a porch that is 200 square feet. Originally built in 1920 this property has been renovated several times with a major renovation to stairs, decks, porches, front facade, while still retaining the warm feeling of a Classic Beach Cottage. Our ground floor features a laundry area with two washers and dryers. You will love our new outdoor shower with hot and cold water to rinse off the salt and sand after a relaxing and fun filled day at the beach! Chairs, cart, umbrellas and boogie boards are available for guests and stored on the ground floor. Each floor rental has off street parking space for two vehicles.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Please wash any used dishes and put away before departure.
Close and lock any windows opened. Set AC to 76 in summer or heat to 68 in winter before departing.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Guest Parking is limited! Each floor is allowed a maximum of 2 cars in the driveway at any time. Leave enough room for 4 cars parked side by side.
Laundry: Rinse sand from bathing suits/shake out towels before adding to washer. Kitchen: Make sure you have left the complete set of 8 silverware
Grilling: Please bring grill outside from under the house before use and clean it after grilling.

Ideally located a short 1/2 block from the beach, and midway from Johnny Mercer's pier and the heart of downtown Wrightsville beach on a quiet street with family-owned, year-round resident properties. This property has a breezy porch with an eagle's view of the ocean and a "secret garden" in a fenced-in backyard.
