Skytop Cottage Steps Away From Sandy Beach (Full Private Beach Access), NEW

Charming two bedroom cottage located directly across from Silver Sands Beach with magnificent ocean views and full private beach access! Our home is located in a cute, beachy, family-friendly neighborhood with tons of activities to do! There is also a public beach at the end of our street, in addition to a 1-mile long boardwalk, national state park, and a cute shopping town. The boardwalk is only a 5 minute walk away and you can find some of the best restaurants in downtown New Haven just 15 minutes away (New Haven style pizza is a must while in CT!). Our ocean-view cottage also offers breathtaking sunrise and sunset views all year round!

Silver Sands

Property was perfect for the two of us! Across the street from the beach with chairs and towels provided! Stocked kitchen and really cute decor. We enjoyed our time! Beds and AC were comfortable. No WiFi access was the only issue. Still 5 stars!!!

Great little setup

Stayed here with 2 little giys and my wife. Condo is very nice and is a hop skip and jump from a surprisingly nice private beach. Decent sand, deep beach and long, good for walking, sitting, or playing. Not sure what the previous reviewers conolaint is about... faucets were a little loose, yes, but no idea how that impacted the stay. Maybe you would conolain to your contractor if you paid for someone to install, but perfectly fine to use. We had not ideal weather and spent plenty of time inside with 2 very young children and never had an issue.

Not the best…

Location & beach are nice! Think twice if you have children—plumbing faucets are loose & difficult to adjust (shower & sink too warm), lacking basic maintenance. Owner’s are slow to respond—listing details are inaccurate. The required cleaning fee is pricey—visitors are ‘required’ to do exit cleaning!! Wish it were different…hesitant to recommend

We both recently graduated from Penn State University and bought our first home together at the start of 2021! We purchased this home so that we could spread the same joy and sweet memories of spending our summers renting a home on East Broadway when we were growing up. We have had so many amazing memories on Silver Sands Beach over the years that we couldn’t help but share this with others! We are looking forward to having you stay in our home and cannot wait for all of you to make the same amazing memories here as well! :)

What makes this property unique

We are located in a cute, beachy neighborhood with friendly neighbors and a family-friendly environment! We are located on Silver Sands Beach and near Silver Sands State Park. There is a public beach at the end of our street and a 1-mile long boardwalk that will connect you to another beachy area with cute shops, food, etc.! We are also just 15 minutes from downtown New Haven which is where you will find tons of restaurants and the famous New Haven style pizza! :)
