This immaculate luxury condo, perched on an emerald bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, offers spectacular views of the surf and the famous Bali Hai mountain range. On Kauai's North Shore, near Hanalei Bay, this 1700-square-foot, ground-floor unit is found in the luxurious Puu Poa condominium complex.

Watch sunsets, whales (during whale season November to March), dolphins, tropical birds, sailboats and surfers from the private, covered lanai that opens directly onto the lawn overlooking the ocean. Relax, grill and eat on the lanai in any weather. Take the beach chairs out on the lawn and stretch out for sunbathing or relaxing after dark as you watch the stars and listen to the surf. Just a short walk away, across the lush grass, you'll find the heated pool. The complex also has two beautiful pickleball courts (Note that the pickleball nets can be moved in order to play tennis instead of pickleball).

Directly below the Puu Poa complex sits the secluded Hideaways Beach. A favorite of many visitors to the island, Hideaways is a wonderful snorkeling and sun-bathing spot. Right next door and within short walking distance is the spectacular new 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay (formerly the St. Regis Princeville) with several bars/restaurants and an incredible spa.

The condo features an Italian-designed, gourmet, eat-in kitchen overlooking a large, open living room and dining area, all offering expansive views of the ocean and mountains. You'll find European furniture, high quality shutters and tiled floors throughout. Designed with attention to promoting a comfortable, bright, airy living space that fully takes advantage of the delightful ocean breezes.

Watch the sun set over the ocean from the living room area or turn on your favorite show on the 55-inch television.

On the covered lanai, use the weber grill to cook your meals. Eat your meals at the teak patio table and relax on the cushioned teak couch.

The kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, wine/beverage cooler, washer/dryer, glass counter-top range, oven and all the pots, pans and utensils needed to prepare any gourmet feast.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, night stands, 42-inch TV, a computer desk and illuminated closet. The guest bedroom features two twin-xl beds, closet, and a 42-inch TV. There are ceiling fans with lights in each of the bedrooms and in the kitchen dining area and living room.

Enjoy shopping and dining in idyllic Hanalei where you'll find a farmers market, fish market and natural food store. Explore Puu Poa, Lumahai and Hanalei beaches; discover the famous backdrops for dozens of Hollywood films including 'South Pacific' and 'Jurassic Park', and 'The Descendants.'

For the adventurous, explore the island's many spectacular hikes, waterfalls, and outlooks, including the world famous "Kalalau Trail" at the end of Highway 560 (about 29 minutes away).

So you know ....
1. While this is a ground floor unit, there are approximately 24 stairs to get from the parking lot down to the ground floor level. There is no elevator.
2. While the internet is strong, cell phone coverage is spotty. Verizon coverage seems to be OK, but AT&T and T-Mobile are quite spotty. The way to solve this is to turn on "internet calling" on your phone
