This was our second stay at the beautiful lake house and we had a fantastic time canoeing on the lake, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit and going on hikes in the area and dinners in Livingston Manor.
This lake house was exactly what we were looking for! It was clean, supplied with everything that we needed, right on the lake and the owners were extremely responsive. Our family is already thinking about going back next year.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to hosting you again anytime!
My brothers and I stay here every year and we're in love with everything about it. It is very well maintained and we were pleasantly surprised this year when we showed up to a beautifully renovated upstairs bathroom. In addition, it has everything that we need and is right on the lake. Most importantly, the owners are the best! They are extremely responsive and very gracious. We highly recommend!!
We loved the stay at this rental - the house was right on a very quiet, clean lake- easy access for our grandkids. Paddle boards, canoe, row boats were great. House has everything we needed!

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay! It was a pleasure to host you and your family.
We had a lovely time staying at the lake house for a fall weekend with our kids. The house had plenty of space and everything we needed, including a canoe that was great fun to take out on the lake. Livingston Manor and its restaurants are only a short drive away. We hope to be back in the summer for swimming!

The summer at the lake is magical! Glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to hosting you next summer!
This was a wonderful, comfortable, well-stocked house on a gorgeous lake! The manager and owners were very helpful and so easy to communicate with. Our family had plenty of room, we could use the rowboat, and we only regretted not having more time to spend there. I highly recommend this property!
This was one of the best-appointed vacation rentals that we have ever stayed at on a lovely little lake. The house was well stocked with linens, towels (even separate lake towels), etc. and we had a great time trying out all of the different water crafts (stand-up paddleboards, rowboats, kayak and canoe) and swimming in the lake. We hope to return next year!

We are so pleased that you had a great time and enjoyed the house and lake!
the situation on the lake is really nice, and it has canoes and stand-up paddleboards. there are a three minor nonidealities: it's a little musty, some of the faucets suddenly splatter water on you, and the neighbors are pretty close. otherwise, this place is really great.
This was our second stay at "Shangri-La on Shandelee Lake" and as with our first stay...It did not disappoint. Our family made use of the variety of watercraft and swimming accessories provided at the house. The house is clean the rooms very comfy and kitchen well stocked with sundries and utensils. The hosts were very responsive . We had a great time. The view of the lake from the house is magnificent
We had such a great stay at this property. In the day we arrived we were subject to the down pouring rain of tropical storm Debby. The property was great for a jigsaw puzzle and watching the rain come down. We were thrilled to enjoy the whole house generator when the power went out.
The next day we were treated to full sun and perfect lake conditions. Everyone enjoyed the boats and floats and the teens loved laying out in the sun.
The house was exactly as advertised and CLEAN! We love a rental with history and you could sense tons of memories in the walls.
Thank you Shandelee sisters!

Peaceful lake-side home, perfect for family get-togethers
This is a lovely, welcoming home, perfect for families who want to spend time together in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We loved kayaking and swimming in the lake, and visits to the cute town of Livingston Manor. Our two-year-old granddaughter had a grand time jumping and running about the lawn, seeing lots of different birds and critters. The Shandalee sisters were very responsive to any questions we had and the house was wonderfully well stocked. I'd highly recommend a stay here!
