This place was perfect. Super clean, cozy, and great location. Just wish the town had cell service, but that’s not Leah’s fault. I hope to return this summer.
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful, clean, quiet little cottage. Everything you could possibly need is there and the location is great for exploring the Catskills. Believe all the great reviews, this place is perfect.
We had a great time in Phoenicia, and the creekside cottage was perfect. As described in the listing, walkable to everything on main st. This is a perfect place for a couple to explore the Catskills or just enjoy Phoenicia. Will definitely return again.
Great place to stay if you like hiking and don't need frills. Conveniently located between mountains and interesting towns if you are looking for restaurants, shopping, etc.
Catskills are the place to go if you want a really relaxing vacation. You won't get cell phone service there unless you're in a structure with wifi. This cottage isn't luxurious, but it is comfortable. We went up for fishing and to visit family.
This was a small cabin in Phoenicia, NY in the heart of the Catskills. The host was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and it proved a good base from which I could explore the area.
While it has a good reputation, I was unimpressed with the town, principally the fact that there was no produce in the town market. I was able to go to area farm markets, but one might do well to bring food with them.
My partner and I enjoyed our stay here! Loved the vibe. I particularly liked the art and look of the cottage space. The creek nearby sounded delightful in the morning. Location was great, right on the main street, but also close to local attractions and neighboring towns by car. Check out the Phoenicia Diner! They had vegan options as my partner and I are vegan. :) Anyway, the cottage was clean, homey and just the place for a getaway from the city.
Sleeping to the sounds of a babbling stream was heaven.
Nice restaurants and grocery very convenient.
Hiking nearby was a huge bonus as well.
Leah is a lovely host.
I love this tiny cottage and I hope to come back!
The host (Leah) was very attentive in communicating on the day of check-in. She said hi to us when we checked-in and gave us great recommendations for places to eat in the area. The cottage exceeded our expectations in terms of location (wow, best of both worlds in proximity to town and Woodstock and hiking areas!), cleanliness (so well organized and clean, beddings, towels, all fresh!), and vibe: the books/magazines, board games, record player and records -- these were all above and beyond. Everything was kept so clean and the bathroom was well ventilated and spotless. The kitchen has a regular sized fridge, amenities and even a rice cooker. Although we didn't use them it's good to know we have the option. Beds were very comfy and there were three of us who stayed: me, my spouse on one bed and our friend in another. Worked out perfectly. Did we mention the location is great? Right next to Esopus Creek and flanked by trees and a garden. Just beautiful. And literally a block away from all the Phoenicia restos and shopping areas. I highly recommend this and would try to book again next time!

Creekside cabinh
The "cabin" was not wha,t we expected--more like a backyard building. Clean and convenient but not comfy.
Our time in Phoenicia was great, made even better by the experience our host provided. The cabin was very nicely decorated, we felt at home. The timing of our visit was during some shutdowns for local businesses but there were plenty of options in the area to visit and enjoy. Our host invited us to a lovely farmers market on the last day of our visit and it was a great way to meet some locals and get a taste of some local goodies. We hope to return!
My wife and I enjoyed bringing our little dog to stay at this cozy retreat that was walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The host or property manager was kind and communicative. Sweet little spot in Phoenicia!
Everything was perfect, with lots of nice touches that helped us feel right at home. We've been staying in short term rentals for over a year, and can honestly say that we got the best sleep of the whole trip, in this cottage. Comfy and cozy.
Really appreciated the hot water kettle, robes, french press, and reading material.
Great location, within walking distance to some trails, including the Phoenicia Overlook - where you can see the cottage from hundreds of feet above - at the nearby park.
We only happened to cross paths with the host once - a few days into our trip - but ended up having a great conversation and lots of new ideas for things to do.
A very tastefully done up, cozy cottage in an excellent location, right in the heart of the Catskills. Very convenient to access all the local spots.
Leah is a great host, very friendly and forthcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet spot to chill.
