Amazing sibling get-away

My sister and her husband who live on the west coast, 3000 miles away, came east to have a visit with us all, including my father, now 102. My husband and I surprised them with a few days in Kennebunkport to spend some quiet, relaxing time together following all the visits with family and friends. We had a wonderful time. The view of Goose Rocks Beach, the quiet of the pre-summer rush, the comfort of our unit all contributed to a perfect getaway we will cherish forever. We played cards, walked, and enjoyed some truly fabulous dinners at Earth at Hidden Pond and at Ocean. We can’t wait to plan another trip as soon as we can find compatible dates.
