After skiing, hiking, or exploring the North Cascades, return to your own private cedar sauna and hot tub. Warm up beside the wood-burning fireplace, share dinner beneath the vaulted wood ceilings, or settle onto the covered deck and listen to the forest around you.



Located in the peaceful Glacier Springs community, this thoughtfully designed mountain home offers space for up to eight guests. With two king bedrooms, one queen bedroom, an open loft with an additional queen bed, and three full bathrooms, everyone has room to rest comfortably.



Glacier’s restaurants and coffee shops are about one mile away, while the trails, waterfalls, and year round adventures of the Mt. Baker area are within easy reach.

THE LIVING SPACE



The open main floor was designed for time together. Tall windows bring in natural light and frame the surrounding evergreens, while the vaulted wood ceiling gives the home a warm and spacious mountain feel.



Settle into the living room after a day outdoors and enjoy the glow of the wood burning fireplace. The large dining table seats eight and creates an easy place for family dinners, celebrations, games, and late night conversations.



KITCHEN & DINING



The wraparound kitchen is open to both the living and dining areas, allowing whoever is cooking to remain part of the gathering. Stainless steel appliances, generous counter space, and an open layout make it easy to prepare everything from a quick breakfast to a full group dinner.

Please note that the loft is open to the upper level and does not have a bedroom door. It is best suited for guests who are comfortable with a more open sleeping space.



The home also includes three full bathrooms. Two have bathtub and shower combinations, making the layout especially convenient for families and groups.



PRIVATE SAUNA & HOT TUB



The outdoor cedar sauna and private hot tub turn the end of every adventure into something worth lingering over.



Start with the warmth of the sauna, step outside into the cool mountain air, and finish with a quiet soak beneath the trees. Whether you have spent the day skiing, hiking, or simply exploring Glacier, this private wellness space invites everyone to slow down and reconnect.



COVERED DECK & YARD



The spacious covered deck offers room for morning coffee, relaxed outdoor meals, and evenings surrounded by the forest. A Weber grill and outdoor lounge seating are provided.



The natural mountain yard includes cornhole and horseshoes, with room for children and dogs to enjoy the outdoors. The yard is partially fenced for added privacy but is not fully enclosed.



FAST WIFI & EV CHARGING



Fast WiFi and a dedicated workspace make it easier to stay connected, stream favorite shows, or work remotely between adventures.



A Level 2 EV charger is also available. Tesla drivers should bring the appropriate adapter for their vehicle.

Swiss Marmot is located in Glacier Springs, a quiet forested community near Glacier, Washington.



Glacier’s coffee shops, restaurants, and visitor information center are about one mile away. Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 30 to 35 minutes from the home, depending on weather and road conditions.



Nearby adventures include Nooksack Falls, Horseshoe Bend Trail, summer hiking at Artist Point, river recreation, snowshoeing, skiing, snowboarding, and scenic drives through the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest.

The Neighborhood:

Swiss Marmot is located in Glacier Springs, a peaceful forested community just outside Glacier, Washington.



Tall evergreens, quiet neighborhood roads, nearby creeks, and the North Fork Nooksack River create a relaxing setting for morning walks, bike rides, and time outdoors. Wildlife is part of the experience, and the neighborhood feels private without leaving guests far from local conveniences.



Glacier’s coffee shops, restaurants, and Mt. Baker visitor information center are about one mile away. Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 30 to 35 minutes up the highway, depending on weather and road conditions.



Nearby attractions include Horseshoe Bend Trail, Nooksack Falls, Artist Point, Heliotrope Ridge, river recreation, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and miles of trails throughout the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest.



Glacier Springs offers the quiet of a mountain neighborhood with easy access to the places guests come to Mt. Baker to experience.



Other Things to Note:

WI-FI & CELL SERVICE



The home has fast WiFi, with a recent Airbnb speed test showing approximately 170 Mbps. Guests can work remotely and stream through their own subscription accounts. As with any rural mountain community, service may occasionally be affected by storms, power outages, falling trees, or regional provider interruptions.



Cell service remains limited in portions of Glacier and along the Mt. Baker Highway, depending on the carrier.



WATER



The broader Glacier Springs water system remains under a boil-water advisory. Swiss Marmot is equipped with a whole home UV water filtration system, and the advisory does not apply to the water provided inside this home.



WINTER WEATHER & ACCESS



Winter weather can change quickly in the Mt. Baker area. AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended during winter, and guests should arrive prepared for snow and changing road conditions. Please check forecasts and mountain highway conditions before traveling.



PETS & THE YARD



Dogs are welcome with the applicable pet fee and must be included in the reservation. Please review the complete pet policy before booking.



The yard has approximately 130 feet of fencing for privacy but is not fully enclosed. Dogs should remain supervised and under their owner’s control while outside.



EV CHARGER



A Level 2 EV charger is available. Tesla owners should bring the appropriate adapter for their vehicle.



FAMILIES



A Pack ’n Play and highchair may be available with advance notice.



WILDLIFE & MOUNTAIN LIVING



This home is located in a mountain rainforest shared with animals ranging from small forest critters to raccoons, deer, bears, and other wildlife. Please keep food and garbage secured and do not leave either outside.



GROCERIES & DINING



Glacier has several favorite local restaurants and coffee shops, but grocery options are limited. Guests planning larger meals may wish to shop in Bellingham before traveling east. Smaller markets and convenience items are available in Maple Falls.
