Located in a gated acreage community, this beautiful 5-plex townhouse has two master suites with ensuite bathrooms, and a guest bedroom with a queen bed. Memories will be made in the open concept main level. It is the perfect place for your family and friends to enjoy a home cooked meal, great conversation, and a couple cocktails on the stargazing back deck. The entire house features high end furniture, new bedding, and beautiful wood floors. The basement bedroom has walkout access to the lower patio, along with access from the family room. Enjoy a huge back lawn area where kite flying or a volleyball match can entertain kids. Get in 18 holes at nearby Bayside World Class public golf course, or grab a burger and a beer at Bayside or Hooks lake bar and grill. Just a mile away is Vans Lakeview public boat ramp and campground where you can launch your boat to enjoy a great day on the water. Semi private beach access is available through gated Lighthouse Villa property. Enjoy much less crowded beaches on the south side. There is plenty of room for overflow parking for your boat and trailers. You will love this location and peaceful setting. Deer and turkeys are often seen from the back deck. Great Lake Escape

Amazingly clean townhouse with great indoor and outdoor spaces. Sunrises and sunsets were both beautiful from the front and back decks. It was great having 3 full and another 1/2 bath. Well stocked kitchen. Beach access close by with a 4x4. Would definitely stay again!

Wedding weekend

The property was clean and beautifully appointed. Plenty of room when we hosted breakfast for the family. The views were stunning! Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. The layout of the condo was perfect with the 2 suites and plenty of room upstairs and down. We really enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home and would definitely love to stay there again!

Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dunes. It was large, spacious and had everything we needed. It was also close enough to Van’s for quick trips to pick up groceries or items we needed. The beach access was also great!

Great place!

We had a great stay. The view was beautiful with the big windows and the condo had everything we needed. The location was great and only minutes away from Van’s. We hope to come back next year.

The Thoene's and Schutter's have been family friends for 10+ years. We like to have fun and live life to the fullest! We purchased this townhouse together and will spend many more summers at this beautiful lake. Keith and Carey Thoene grew up in northeastern Nebraska and have 3 kids. Tara Schutter grew up in Sidney, Ne and Don in Northglenn, CO and have one daughter. We have all enjoyed spending summers at Big Mac and have made so many memories with many more to come.

Why they chose this property

We are 2 families that have spent weekends at Lake McConaughy for the last 10 +/- summers. Three of us grew up in Nebraska and love this lake! The beach is unbeatable and the Nebraska folks are friendly and down to earth. We love the south side and the peaceful feeling of the Dunes. Waking up to such an amazing view of the lighthouse and lake is so refreshing and watching the sunset finishes the day perfectly. We hope you love this area as much as we do.
