Garden apartment in fantastic village location walking distance to town, beach and harbor. Two bedroom apartment has all the charm and amenities for your fabulous seaside vacation. Kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer. Living room/Dining areas for entertaining. First bedroom features a queen bed and second bedroom has two twin beds. Brand new mattresses and linens. Outdoor space with grill and seating. Use of kayaks. Near colleges (Endicott, Gordon, Salem State) as well as Landmark.We ask that all guests are vaccinated for Covid if eligible.

Amazing location

This stay was amazing! Perfect location to take the train to Salem and great hikes in the area. The home was immaculately clean and cozy. It was perfect for our group of 4 to home base for our long weekend. The town is adorable and our host was great at communicating! 10/10 would stay again!

Relaxing get-away

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-day stay in Manchester-by-the-Sea. The property is conveniently located walkable to town and a bit longer walk to the beach. Short drives will also get you to nearby beaches and other points of interest. The property has relaxing spaces for sitting as a group inside and out and everything was clean and welcoming. Big birthday surprise

My two youngest daughters and I came to Manchester by the sea to surprise my oldest daughter for her 40th birthday. We enjoyed the house and having a space to rest and relax. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious! Christine was very accommodating with our request to check in a couple of hours early.

Warm and welcoming

after a long flight with two kids, we showed up at serenity suite to such a clean quaint home and couldn’t have felt more welcomed! there were fresh flowers, wine and cookies awaiting and our favorite music playing. The indoor and outdoor living spaces were so inviting and and beds were so comfy- the perfect place to rest after fun and active days walking to town and swimming at beautiful singing sands beach. Christine was so responsive, friendly and helpful every step of the way. We couldn’t have been happier and will certainly return next time we visit Manchester.

Lovely little place in a cute neighborhood

Plenty of room for the three of us (could easily have 4). LR and kitchen are roomy, bathroom is compact, bedrooms are good. Master bed was a little soft but not too bad. Lots of TV options (we had an issue finding a channel we wanted but the owner came down and fixed it). We didn't do any cooking but there appeared to be plenty of stuff available to do so. Owner was easy to deal with and very responsive. It's walking distance to some food and stores. Some of the instructions could stand to be updated a bit but that's a nit. I would certainly recommend this place and would consider using it again if we're in that area in the future.

Charming and convenient

Well appointed and cozy place near fabulous Manchester-by-the-Sea. Enjoy super easy access to the train which takes you to Boston and then retreat to the beautiful area in the well appointed apt. We are the hosts at Serendipity Suite. My name is Christine and my husband is Andre. We live upstairs from the unit so we are readily available to assist you in any way we can.

Why they chose this property

This property is very special to me because it is the house that I grew up in and the house that we raised our children in. Our children are sixth generation in Manchester by the Sea. Serendipity Suite was always a year round rental apartment and we decided because I love to entertain and host that we would try our hand at making it a vacation rental.

What makes this property unique

My favorite part about my home is that we live in a wonderful neighborhood and it is within walking distance to beautiful Singing Beach. At night if the breeze is right you can smell and taste the salt air right outside the door. Some nights you can actually hear the waves. We are less than a mile walk from downtown, restaurants, shops and the harbor. We know you will fall in love with Manchester by the Sea just like we did many years ago.
