Drift House has three spacious bedrooms and convenient access to the Sterling Hwy in Cooper Landing, making it the perfect spot for groups of fishermen getting out to play on the Upper Kenai River and for travelers looking for an easy base camp from which to explore the Kenai Peninsula.
Drift House is a roomy and basic accommodation. The space is comfortable and not too fancy, so you can really live here, enjoy yourself and relax. The vibe is Alaska rustic-industrial-chic with a splash of cowboy carpentry to bring it all together. It is an OK clean and cozy place to put up your feet and unwind after a long day of adventures. Pets and smokers (outside smoking only) are welcome and there is plenty of room to park your boat, too!. An arctic entry plus mudroom provides a place for all your gear, waders, and even a chest freezer for your catch.

The owners have covered everything necessary to make sure their guest enjoy the property. Perfect location to fish the Russian as well as the Kenai River. Great communication from the owner to answer any questions prior to arrival and throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this property and book it again in the future!!
Excellent location to tour Seward and Homer (and fish)
Spotless, well equipped kitchen, plenty of room. Not a scenic neighborhood but this is a very functional place to stay and a convenient location. Beds were comfortable. We appreciate the great communications and easy check in/out process.
Perfect for my crew! I had three generations stay with me, my parents, my husband and I and my kids ( three boys ages 14, 12, and 8). One room has two full size beds and a futon that folds out to another bed - I loved that the boys had their own space and each had their own bed. Such a large house. Also everything you need to do to cook and relax. Beds are comfy too. Thanks for a great stay ! We will be back.
We recently stayed at the Kenai River Float-n-Fish Drift House and Drift Shack in Cooper Landing and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the property. It was evident that great care had been taken to ensure a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
The check-in process was a breeze, thanks to the intuitive instructions provided. We appreciated the clear communication with Heather both before and during our stay, which helped make our trip even more enjoyable.
One aspect that stood out to us was the accuracy of the property listing. Everything matched the description perfectly, from the amenities to the overall ambiance. It’s always refreshing when a listing lives up to its promises, and this one certainly did.
The location of the property was ideal, being close to the Russian River campground. It provided easy access to outdoor activities, and we were able to enjoy the natural beauty of the area to the fullest. Whether it was fishing, hiking, or simply soaking in the serene surroundings, there was always something to do.
Overall, our experience at the Kenai River Float-n-Fish Drift House and Drift Shack was exceptional. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a clean, well-appointed, and conveniently located vacation rental. Our stay was truly memorable, and we hope to return in the future.
The property was very clean. The location was great for access to the Cooper Landing boat launch and is close to Russian River.
The management was very responsive and had a great check-in and check-out process.
