***We continue to implement our already rigorous cleaning protocols along with an added layer of disinfecting, as we finalize for each guest arrival. On departure, we ask that you take out the trash, and we require that you not leave any dirty dishes/pots & pans. A fee of up to $200 may be charged for dirty dishes/pots & pans.***

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is so conveniently located that we loved walking "across the street" to the downtown area of Paso. It was well stocked with lots of little items not always thought of in most rentals these days (like cream for our coffee). The management company was great to work with and always extremely professional. We will definitely use this group again!

Great Weekend Stay in Paso!

We spent a long weekend in Paso and this place was perfect for the three of us. It was in a terrific location right off the square, so we were able to walk to downtown wineries, shops and restaurants. The place was in great shape, very clean and comfortable for us to hang out when we weren't in town or visiting wineries. Would definitely stay there again next time we're in town!

Great Location!

Easy walk to restaurants and tasting rooms from this central location. Great space, exactly as advertised. It can be dark coming / going at night because of the business space below, so be prepared to use your phones' flashlight. Would definitely stay again!

Quick visit to Paso Robles

Property was perfect for what we needed. Accommodation was clean and roomy. The location of this rental was perfect - easy walk to downtown. Neighborhood was very quiet at night. Property Management were very easy to work with. We forgot a bag after checkout and they contacted us immediately to arrange for return (which we received promptly!) Loved our stay, and would stay at this location again if we are in the area!

Location Location Location

The property itself was as described. The decor was a little dated (as you can tell from the pictures) and the layout was a little disjointed, but it was very clean, roomy, and the location is almost impossible to beat. The property is only about a block to town square, so, if that's where you want to be, then this unit is great.Keep in mind that the VRBO is above an operating business(es) which you do have to walk through to get to your unit. Obviously not a deal killer for us given the convenient location, but it does add a level of complexity to coming and going. I would absolutely stay in this unit again.

The property is in downtown. The property is inside a business building (upstairs). Overall, the property is nice, roomy, and clean! The beds are a bit uncomfortable (they don't have a whole lot of support). Other that, everything is fine.

Great location

The location makes walking to downtown shops and restaurants a breeze. The layout of the unit was perfect. Only two issues we faced: The stairs to the upstairs unit are steep and not easy for someone who's had eight knee surgeries. Second, The lights to the downstairs commercial area entry hall aren't easy to locate in the dark. This makes getting to the units entry door at night challenging.

Memorial Day weekend

We came into town for the memorial weekend hot Rod show. We weren’t sure what to expect when we got to our place. It was just my wife and I but there’s plenty of space for two couples. This place is close to the park and plenty of places to eat within walking distance, I will be looking to stay there again in the next couple of months very comfortable very clean. The only negative thing I could say is that we got to our place a little later than we expected so when you first go in the hall is a little dark but once you figure out that there’s a light switch it’s not even a big deal. The space was clean. The beds were comfortable, definitely two thumbs up

February 2023 Stay

This is an unusual property so it took a little getting used to its quirks. There is a lot of unused space and doors and random furniture in unexpected places. That being said, the bed was very comfortable and the show was very good. The location is great, especially having Buena Tavola right next door--what a fabulous restaurant. Our visit was hampered by the weather so I am sure that clouded our experience (literally). The white leather furniture is not comfortable. The kitchen was mostly well equipped. We would be unlikely to return.

The unit was larger than expected. That was a pleasant surprise. It was very clean and had all the needed items for a relaxing stay. It's close to downtown and allowed for an easy walk to restaurants and bars. This unit is located on the upstairs level of an office building, but it was extremely quiet. Great off-street parking provided. Only recommendation I would have is better lighting in the bathroom. I would highly recommend this property for your next visit to Paso Robles.

It was very well planned and there were plenty of towels, spices in the kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a fireplace! There were two problems. The directions for entering the buildings were misleading and it took 2 or 3 phone calls to enter. Fortunately, the calls were answered and the problem was straightened out. The woman I spoke with said she would rewrite the directions for future renters. The other problem was that I woke up with and incredibly runny nose which gradually disappearwd during the day and then reappeared the next runny nose disappeared by the time we returned home, so not a germ. Maybe the air filters needed changing?

Roomy But Awkward Space Upstairs

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would only recommend this property for families who need the two-bedrooms, kitchen and dining room. But for a couple who enjoys Paso’s great restaurants, it’s not a great choice. The positives - It’s very spacious, with two decent-sized bedrooms, just one bath, a comfortable living room and two dining areas. There’s in-unit laundry and a functional kitchen. And the ambient light is lovely. The management was well handled, with good communication and thoughtful instructions. It’s super convenient, just a block from the city’s central square and all the downtown hot spots. But quite a few negatives. It’s an awkward, ugly location inside a stale, 1970’s-feeling office building. It may be a penthouse but it looks and feels like a converted doctor’s office, with a weird flow around every corner and odd angles everywhere. Getting into the space is a total turnoff. You walk through a ground floor office building hallway that is pitch black at night (why are so many light fixtures dead?) with musty carpet and creeking floors. You struggle in the darkness to find an unmarked, difficult-to-see door leading to the upstairs apartment. It feels creepy. Inside, the place is stuck in 1989. The gray and moave. Mirrors everywhere. The old kitchen. The soft, uncomfortable bed. The basic cable TV that had so few channels we were forced to leave the unit and go to a sports bar to watch the Dodger games. (Who doesn’t have Fox Sports or TBS?) There is no streaming service other than Netflix. The TV sits above a bizarre, funky fake fireplace that turns itself on unexplainably. The kitchen has the weirdest feng shui. There’s just ALOT that’s awkward and unappealing. It’s definitely clean but not recommended.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Arriving late at night isn’t the optimal choice for this location. Yes, there’s a light switch next to the entrance to turn on lights in the first short hallway, however, you better have your phone out with the flashlight turned on when you turn the corner. It’s pitch black and there’s no light switch. That’s probably why people complain that it’s hard to find. Also, the lockbox outside for the outside door is not in an obvious place - again, you’re going to need your flashlight. The rental was VERY warm upon our arrival. Someone had set the thermostat to “Off” for the AC, but “On” for the fan. So the unit was just circulating hot air - it had been quite warm in Paso Robles that day and the unit is on the second floor. There’s a note above the thermostat that says, “Don’t put AC below 72 or the coils may freeze up and shut down the unit.” Do it took an extended period of time to get it cooled down. Also, there’s no window in one of the bedrooms, so there’s no way for that hot air to escape. The second bedroom only has a skylight that opens. The location of this place is perfect and we were there on the weekend so parking wasn’t an issue at all (none of the businesses in the building were open while we were there). But when I opened the cabinet to get a glass out, almost every glass had fingerprints all over them, almost like someone with lotion on their hands had put them away (there’s no dishwasher). Then when we were ready to leave and I read the “Departure Instructions” I was shocked that they tell you to wash all of the dishes and utensils you’ve used. No wonder the dishes were all spotted and had fingerprints all over them! I would NEVER have the people renting the unit wash the dishes for the next guests to use! They could be careless about washing the dishes thoroughly, they could be sick,
