My family and I had a wonderful stay. The weather even cooperated and we received snow our first night!! The property is in a beautiful area and well maintained. More than enough space to be comfortable for 6 adults if needed. I recommend with impunity. For those with pets, the backyard is enclosed and spacious. Of note, there is no direct access from the inside of house to the backyard. This may be an issue for some families?
The cabin was great. Very quiet surroundings and not far from town yet far enough that it feels very woodsy. Everything was clean and well kept. Definitely recommend families to stay here
My family and I stayed here for the first time and will definitely be booking again and again!! The communication from the host was super easy. The neighborhood is gorgeous. I have no complaints and I definitely recommend for family vacations!
My overall stay was wonderful! House was clean, very cozy and the host was amazing! I would definitely stay again. Thank you so much Brian for the wonderful experience! I’ll definitely be back again!
Very nice and spacious cabin!! We had a party of 7 adults and 1 toddler. Cozy and well kept! We were pleasantly surprised to have a high chair available for use. Fully stocked kitchen - pots/pans, dishes. Too many amenities to list. We will definately stay again!
Finally got to experience where I would love to retire. When I was a kid I had dreamed of living in a place like this and I finally got to experience what it would be like.
Upon arrival, accessing the house was a breeze, and we were delighted to find it spotlessly clean and fully equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was a relief to only have to worry about bringing our personal supplies and food.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the first night, when we were treated to a rare snowfall. Seeing my teenager's joy at experiencing snow again was heartwarming, and we enjoyed a peaceful evening building a snowman and taking in the quiet beauty of the surroundings. Over the following days, we explored the area and found ourselves falling in love with the slower pace of life away from the city.
The only minor issue we encountered was having to take our dog out through the side door and down the steps to access the backyard. While it required a bit of extra effort, it encouraged us to spend more time outdoors, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Overall, our stay was incredibly enjoyable, and we left with cherished memories. Thank you for providing such a lovely retreat. 🏡❄️🐾
This truly is a great place to stay. Very clean, super responsive and friendly host. It feels like home away from home. Great places close by to explore!! Truly a gem. Will be back for sure!
Beautiful property, clean and as listed! Brian was a great host and very responsive! Our entire family from our youngest to the oldest had a lovely time!
Exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Open design between kitchen and the living area, and the 2-story windows provide plenty of natural light and a great sense of being in the forest. We had 4 adults in our group and the size was perfect. The second floor loft area adds quite a bit of space (and a second TV) so I think we easily would have been comfortable with 6 adults.
No issues whatsoever during the 5-day stay, however the property owner was in contact and I don't doubt we would have had quick resolution if anything had come up.
Would definitely book again in the future.
We just got back from a week long stay in Pinetop. There wasn’t a day or night we weren’t on the front porch relaxing and enjoying the weather. Hiking is close by, as is the Pinetop Lakes golf course. This house was exactly as listed. Thanks Brian!
This is a lovely, well appointed cabin set in a gorgeous wooded lot. The cabin has stunning views from its huge family room windows that seemed to bring the nature inside for us to enjoy. The cabin was immaculate and very well furnished. The property manager was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to our messages, even checking in once to make sure all was going well. This would be a great property for a family to enjoy, with the master bedroom downstairs and two other bedrooms upstairs. The backyard was fully fenced, which was important for us as we brought our dog along. Our grandchildren were over for an afternoon, and they loved the swing set with its rock climbing wall and monkey bars.
I only can think of two items that could be improved. First, the mattress in the master bedroom was pretty soft and was not the most comfortable, although we did get more used to it after the first night. And second, because the garage was locked up, to let our dog out, we had to walk him outside, down a couple steps and then open the gate to the backyard for him. Not a big deal in the summer, but I wouldn’t want to do that in the winter with snow on the ground.
Other that those items, this is a fantastic place to stay for those wanting the forest experience without camping in a tent. Highly recommended.
The vaulted ceiling and wall of windows looking out on the pines make this home feel even more spacious. We had 8 people, 5 households coming and going over the week, and it was very comfortable. Situated in a lovely, walkable neighborhood, we were close to everything we wanted to do. Excellent, prompt communication from the owner. I would love to stay here again.
Slight hiccup with check in as the driveway was not plowed, but the owner made it right and had someone out the next day.. house was beautiful, clean and very close to sunrise.. would stay here several more times, no questions asked..
We had a great time! We were a group of 9 adults, family and in-laws.
It was clean and had almost everything we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. The TV had Netflix, Hulu, Disney + and other services already signed in so you could use it even if you didn't have your own account. The wireless signal was strong. The pictures matched. The only issue we had was that the fireplace was a little smokey on the first day, but it improved on the second day. We had the flue opened, but maybe the chimney needs to be cleaned.
This house was perfect for our fall break trip to pinetop with enough space for my family, my mom, plus the dogs. It was very clean, nicely stocked. The only thing missing was a fenced in yard, but i knew that when i booked. Loved the neighborhood and location. We will definitely stay again.
We enjoyed the home with it's large kitchen. It was to hang with our family.

About the host
Hosted by Brian
I'm an outdoors lover, so I love to come to Pinetop to fish, kayak, hike, explore all the small towns nearby. My favorite drive in the US is through the Black River to Alpine for a slice of pie and hot chocolate, especially on a rainy day.
Why they chose this property
I've been coming up to Pinetop since I was a kid, in fact my grandfather built one of the 1st cabins in this neighborhood back in the early 70's. My goal was to buy a place of my own to share with my family and share this mountain experience for others. Hope you enjoy.
What makes this property unique
It's so cozy, guests always leave with a magical feeling looking out the window wall into the pines with a warm fire blazing in the fireplace. The wrap around patio with a section for grilling and chilling is relaxing.
