This place fit our family great with the right amount of communal and private spaces. The pool was a hit for all ages and provided a nice place to cool down. Property manager was available and responsive. Could not ask for a better place. We hope to visit again soon.
The house was absolutely perfect, we had 10 people ranging from adults down to toddlers. This house was exactly what we needed—perfect in every way! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we were looking for. The location was great, and the amenities made our stay even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and would definitely stay here again!
The property was perfect for our family to make wonderful memories over Thanksgiving break. Great amenities like the pool, bikes and beach gear; very clean and of course, a great location near the beaches. Thank you!
The house was a lovely space for our family with 3 generations. The pool is well maintained with toys for all ages. The cruisers and scooter were a sweet addition to enjoying the neighborhood. Our last day we changed plans & stayed @ the house to play in the pool and eat there instead of going out for dinner. Taking sweet memories home!
This property is outstanding in every way. Our party of four was thrilled with the house. A great location and the welcome basket was a great suprise. We spent many hours enjoying the lovely pool and the outdoor TV along with the pool toys. Loved the abundance of beach towels and the linens in all four of the bedrooms were gorgeous. Allen was gracious and made sure we had everything we needed. It was so convenient that the bikes and beach gear were provided as we made the short ride over to Tigertail Beach to enjoy the lagoon and ocean several times. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted. It was just a short distance to great dining including The Oyster Society, Mango's, Deep Lagoon Seafood, CJ's by the Bay and Sale a Pepe. Also made a trip to the Everglades to take an airboat ride and a boat tour into the Ten Thousand Islands from Everglades City. This is a stellar property!
We are a family of 10: 2 grandparents, 4 other adults, and 4 little kids and the house accommodated us very well. We were especially pleased with the arrival of the new washer/dryer; I just wish we had known not to use the older one as we kind of stumbled with adding water, etc to the washer.
We much appreciated all of the bikes and toys and beach chairs and the wagon. There was an unbelievable mix of accessories for our use. Also, the kitchen was well stocked with the dishwasher soap, spices, olive oil, etc. Much appreciated!
Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels, all of which were of newer quality.
As for nearby activities, we did a shelling tour which was nice, but a little pricey. We did the pirate tour which the little ones just loved! Be sure to book activities well in advance. There were other tours that we wanted to do, but all booked.
As for beaches, we preferred the south beaches, arrive by 9 a.m. to get a parking spot. Parking was only $10. We tried the beach closer to the house, but man, what a long walk from the parking lot to the beach! It was definitely quieter, however. We just preferred the access point at the other beach.
Overall, I would definitely recommend!
We were very pleased with the whole experience! The property is amazing, the house is very modern and very, very clean. The beach is not too far away, easily reachable by foot, though we decided to drive because of the hot weather and our tendency to move from beach to beach. Parking fee for the Tigertail beach was $10 for the day, not too terrible, and the parking lot was never too crowded.
We gave our best effort not to disturb the heavenly peace and quiet of the street, which was not easy because our mixed american/european group is usually very loud. We were very grateful that the neighbours didn't complain about our music. Our favorite spot to relax and have fun after beach was the awesome pool area, and the blue pool light at night made the whole experience that much more unique. We made friends with the family of very peaceful raccoons that went for a relaxing night walk just outside the pool area, and a cute little frog we named William, that came every late night from somewhere and took a swim in the pool, enjoying it so much that we just didn't have a heart to disturb or try to evict 🥰
A tremendous supply of towels, blankets, comforters and bedding was very appreciated and the only one thing that we found was missing in the amazingly stocked kitchen was a soup ladle 😂
The manager was always just a text/call away, very friendly and approachable.
I took us a minute to figure out to slooooowly turn on the gas supply for the flatbed grill, in order for it to jump into life and grill into perfection everything we put on it.
We wrote a thank you note in the guest book and were very sad when our 10 days at the property were over.
It was a vacation we all will remember for a long time.
Communication with Megan was amazing! The property manager was great too! He even met the medical rental company since they were needing to deliver a hospital bed prior to arrival. There was a little snag at check in, but Megan was so responsive and was willing to do whatever was necessary to help! After that the stay for 2 weeks was awesome!
We spent 10 days here over spring break and loved this rental property. We’ve stayed in Marco before and have rented many homes over the years but this one has been a favorite. The house has EVERYTHING you need… bikes, beach equipment, pool toys and a kitchen fully stocked. The home was VERY clean and newly updated. The pool area was perfect… our children spent hours swimming and we enjoyed sitting out on the lanais. The grill worked great and we enjoyed using it for meal time. The location was also perfect… we biked to the beach. It’s a great neighborhood for biking or walking. We would definitely come back.
We had a wonderful time. The house had everything you could need. From the fantastic welcome goodie basket to more towels a family could use. It was a great time. We especially loved the very quiet neighborhood and the heated pool. We will be coming back again. No need to change it up, this place has all we needed.
The Seabird is a family owned vacation home that we purchased in 2021. We are from central Illinois and have been visiting the island for many years. We love Marco Island and knew it was time to purchase this home when we were wanting to be in paradise more often! Our family decided to open our home to others wanting to come to the island and make memories as we have over the years.
Why they chose this property
Why The Seabird? It is close to everything! Seriously... the beach is .6 miles away. The Seabird comes with four adult beach cruisers making it a quick bike ride to Tigertail Beach Park entrance. It is also close to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. In addition to being in a great location, The Seabird is a very well maintained home that has a private lanai with pool, newly updated kitchen with spacious island.
