We were very concerned to hear about your experience and want to sincerely apologize for the distress this caused. We take matters like this extremely seriously. I do want to share that we have never had this issue reported before in this unit, and after conducting a thorough deep cleaning and inspection, we did not find any evidence of bed bugs. We are hoping this may have been an isolated incident; however, out of an abundance of caution, we took additional steps beyond our standard routine. This included performing an extra pest control treatment on top of our regular preventative spraying, as well as replacing the mattress as an added precaution. We’re also very sorry if you felt your message went unanswered, that is not the level of communication we strive to provide, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we could take action for future guests. Thank you again for letting us know, and we truly regret the impact this had on your stay.

I wanted to let you know that we’ve replaced the TV remote and also replaced the bulb in the bedside lamp. Regarding the shower, it uses a standard turn-knob control, and we tested the water heater, hot water remained on for a normal, standard amount of time. We appreciate your honest input about the pull-out couch and other minor inconveniences, and we’ll continue looking for ways to improve the overall comfort of the unit for future guests.
