Welcome to the Free Farm house located on 2 lovely acres on the outskirts of Bozeman, you will enjoy the property along with a few of our horses and the local deer. This home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large family room, bonus room, and plenty of outdoor space, fenced for dogs. It's located just a short distance from the Gallatin River and close to all the amenities of town. The house is turn-key, pets allowed and ready for guests, with comfy beds, quality bedding & towels and much more. This unique property is able to host small gatherings and has plenty of parking room. Bring your boats, snowmobile trailers, motorhomes, etc. The mountain views and sunsets are stunning!

We are a fully licensed "Short Term Rental" with Gallatin County and State of Montana.

We have a security camera installed on the front porch to allow us to monitor if the horses get out of their pens.

The upstairs/ downstairs arrangement was perfect for us — allowing privacy for everyone. The grounds are beautifully maintained and perfect for evening relaxation and space for our dogs. Graduation celebration

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the house for our daughters graduation from MSU. Location and house were perfect for our extended weekend celebration. Guys Fishing Trip

Free Farm was excellent for me and my buddies during our Montanan fishing trip. Proximity to airport is fantastic for people coming and going. The location worked great for us as home base for ease of access to several different fishing locations, The Yellowstone, Madison, Gallatin, Boulder, downtown Bozeman etc. The property feels remote but you are close to everything. House is well equipped for cooking and bbqing with everything you need for both. Sleeping arrangements worked great for us (we had 8 at our max). House is clean, yard is huge for outside activities. Everyone was very pleased. Would stay here again 100%.

Ideal property for our trip.

We hoped to find a spot in the Bozeman/Belgrade area that would accommodate six adults, with a kitchen large enough to prepare a Thanksgiving meal, and dog friendly. The Free Farm property met our needs, and much more. The home is well kept and very comfortable. The kitchen is nicely equipped and spacious enough for concurrent meal prep activities. The house and yard are extremely dog friendly — the owners seem to be as thoughtful toward the pet guests as they are to people. The communication with the owner was timely and concise. We encountered no issues and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks for providing a great property for our stay.

Family Visit to Belgrade

The Farm House in Belgrade was the perfect answer to our needs. We had a group of 6 - 3 adults, 3 kids. We were able to give my Dad the upstairs bedroom/bathroom, while my wife/me and our 3 kids shared the basement. Our two girls used the room with a bed/trundle, and our oldest got a room to himself. We didn't make any major meals as our family lives just .4 miles from the house. But each morning we enjoyed breakfast and coffee, before heading out for the days' adventures. If we had one complaint, it would be the lack of a bathroom downstairs. Otherwise, a perfect stay for our needs.

Lovely home and yard. Ample space for our family and friends. We had a few family dinners and there was space for all of us. We had an issue that there was no central air. It was very warm when we arrived, so I think the heat was on when we got there. The window a/c unit was not enough to cool the house down. The homeowners responded quickly to our issues/concerns.

We were very impressed with this house. It was very clean. There were extra supplies available. The location was easy to get to. It was in a quiet area. The owner responded immediately when we had questions. Highly recommend this property if you are planning a trip to the Belgrade/Manhattan area.

Great week in Belgrade/Bozeman

The house and property were great, and the location made it very convenient to get on I-90 for our trips into Bozeman. One of the easiest homes we’ve stayed in as far as arriving, the key was in a lockbox near the front door. Then departing, we just locked the door on our way out - Amy didn’t need us to strip bedding or consolidate linens and start a load of laundry. Have already booked the house for a future visit in Sept. because we liked it so much!

Farm house

The house was very clean. Decorated tastefully with comfortable furniture and plenty of seating. I would definitely rent again and recommend it for families. It has a large well kept lawn.

Amy, the owner, met us at the property, answered our questions and gave us lots of suggestions and ideas for the area. She was very nice to work with. The house is spacious and well-stocked. We appreciated the baby gates on the stairs to keep our one-year-old safe. The kids spent a lot of time outside in the large yard. A few camper were on the opposite end of the 2-acre lot but we seldom saw them. This house is a short drive to Bozeman. We would stay here again!

Nice house and relaxing property. We didn’t know that they also Y’s the property for nightly camping rentals in the front yard. Also, if was a challenge to not have internet at the house, but I think that is being connected shortly. It would be nice to add a blender to the kitchen. Otherwise Amy thought of all the small details to make the house comfortable, cozy and homey. Thank you for all those nice touches.
