About the host
Hosted by Austyn Cunningham
Hello, My name is Austyn.
I grew up in a Seattle suburb until 2014 when I moved across the state to Spokane, WA to pursue a career in Real Estate & Finance and to be close to my brothers and my nieces and nephews.
I spend as much time as possible outdoors; Hiking, Climbing, Swimming, boating, watersports, camping, backpacking and traveling is most likely what I am doing when I’m off work.
I love being a Short Term Rental Host, and do my best to insure I earn an honest 5-star review from each guest..
I began hosting when I was 19/yo and I couldn’t handle my roommates anymore but I couldn’t afford my mortgage without additional income, so I kicked them out and began renting out my 3-spare bedrooms. Now 7-years and 4 houses later I’ve transformed a long abandoned historic house that was the eyesore of the neighborhood into a high quality Airbnb that brings the neighborhood up. I love all my neighbors and they fully support what I’m doing. I also manage a couple downtown Spokane condos in partnership with local builders, and rural lake houses in Idaho for some buddies of mine.
Hosting is a passion of mine and I strive to have my listing stand above all the others, I do my best to earn a 5-star review from every guest I host, but more importantly when a guest returns year after year I know I’m providing excellent service.
On all of my listings you will deal with me and only me, from your initial inquiry to your checkout, I manage, decorate, supply and clean everything myself to insure only the highest quality. And although I almost never meet any of my guests I try to make each stay personal and memorable

Why they chose this property
This is a unique home as it is secluded on acreage, open concept and sits on a inlet which makes the waterfront calm and quiet even on the busiest weekends, it was custom designed and built in 2016 and has been a family getaway spot since then.
It sold in 2023 and I (Austyn) have continued managing the property in partnership with the new owners Erik & Tanya who purchased it as a getaway home for themselves as well as their family and friends. The rental availability is dependent on when they are enjoying the property for themselves.

What makes this property unique
Being set back ~600ft from the water (and 800ft from the road) means the house and yard are secluded and private, enjoy playing in the yard, listening to music, having a bonfire and knowing that there's nobody around besides those who traveled with you.
