The Neighborhood:
Experience your own mountaintop adventure right from downtown. Soar to the top of Anakeesta Mountain on a one-of-a-kind Chondola. Walk across the longest pedestrian Skybridge in North America. Ride the Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tram to a mountain of fun. However, these popular attractions barely scratch the surface of what Gatlinburg has to offer in the outdoors.

Families, friends, and couples come to Gatlinburg to enjoy it all. With ziplines and whitewater rafting, world-class golf and fishing, and 800 miles of hiking trails in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg is one of America’s premier outdoor destinations. Biking, bird watching, and horseback riding are also recommended activities to try while you’re outside in Gatlinburg.

Getting Around:
This home is located near the top of a mountain and has spectacular views! Due to its location, it does have a very steep driveway which may impact your ability to navigate your car up the drive to the home based on weather. We strongly suggest having a 4-wheel drive vehicle. In inclimate weather and during winter months, we strongly recommend the use of snow or chained tires. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds should vehicles not be able to access the home.

This driveway is not suitable for guests traveling with busses, RV's, or campers.

Should weather or a driven vehicle prohibit you from using the driveway, there is a flat natural parking area halfway up the long drive. If you choose to walk up the driveway, you assume your own risk of fall or injury.

Cabin with a view

This cabin is absolutely beautiful. We had a great time and loved the Mountain Views. Much to our surprise on our last day we had a bear outside the cabin. He was so adorable. Seeing him maid this vacation extra special.

Dirty and false advertising

First the drive up to this place was horrible, single broken road, bad parking. Second we paid for early check in and when we got there the place was filthy, garbage cans were almost full, cob webs on beds and towels, mini split leaked water upstairs in the one bedroom, shower vents were covered in dirt and dropped on people when showering, fridge leaked water on floor, description of showers was wrong. Missing a bathroom for one of our couples, 2 of 3 TVs downstairs didn’t work, vacuum was completely full of pet hair and stunk, pet fur all over the furniture, the grill they provided was barely able to be used because it hasn’t been cleaned, dirty dishes etc. when company was contacted twice the maintenance guy was 2 hrs late and still didn’t fix the mini split right. Most of the toilets leaked from the tank area. After coming back and contacting the company they gave a disrespectful refund of $315 and said well we continued to stay there! Well after driving 10 hrs on 4th of July week what was we to do? Would never book this home again!

Great views + location

This home worked perfectly for our trip with 5 teenagers. They loved the game room downstairs and watching movies in the theater. We all loved watching the fireflies light up the yard at dusk. The location is great, in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Amazing sunrises, great views, clean and spacious. The driveway is steep, and I could see it being an issue in a winter storm, but was no problem for our summer trip. Thanks much!

60th birthday

We loved the property and the location. They recently cut down some trees/brush which really improved the view. The only slight negative was the construction noise on both sides of the property during the day. I believe by the spring of 2024, this will no longer be an issue.

Comfort on the Mountain

Overall a great experience! There were a couple of small issues, but certainly no show-stoppers. We had to wash many of the dishes, pots, and pans because it was apparent that some of them were put away without being washed. Could also use a little dusting of the cobb webs, which is pretty standard for mountain living (inside and outside). The cleaning service forgot to turn the hot tub on prior to arrival, so we found the breaker box and turned in on. Also about time for the front windows to be cleaned as not to obscure the view. Lastly, the trees in front of the porch need to be trimmed back so that you can see the spectacular view beyond the porch (75% of your potential view is blocked by the foilage). Now for the good stuff: the porch was relaxing, the beds inviting, and the overall amenities were excellent. The theater and game room was a great addition. The house overall was in great condition; like new. This house is in a great location to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We would stay here again for sure.

Majestic Views Indeed!

I would rate more than 5 stars if possible. Get beyond the steep driveway (trust me, you will get used to it) and you'll be glad you made the journey. Majestic Views is simply awesome! The house is beautiful - with a sweet theater room, smart TVs in every room where it makes any sense at all, and thoughtful touches everywhere. The hot tub was already warmed up for us when we arrived. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, dishes, amd cookware. The twin beds in the foosball room could be a little more comfortable, but its small potatoes when looking at how wonderful everything else was during our trip. Equally important to all of those the home's features was the communication from the owners. Beckon and Isabeau were fantastic! They communicated thoughtfully, pleasantly, and just enough based on the situation. Their approach to communicating with my family tied a bow on a wonderful family trip to the Smokies. Thank you for a wonderful stay at Majestic Views!

Wonderful Getaway

This home is absolutely beautiful! Very large and comfortable. Both the adults and grandchildren had a great time! The views were amazing! The amenities are such that you would expect from a beautiful home like this. We hated to leave but will definitely be back next year! If you go there you will feel the same way!

Convenient Privacy

This property is big, clean, in an excellent location, private and peaceful. That is hard to find in the area these days. Beautiful home, the main floor master has a very comfortable bed. Can't speak for the others. The theater was awesome. Hot tub was clean and inviting after a day wading the rough streams of the park fly fishing. The usual rental wear and tear can be found if you look hard enough. But nothing worth listing. Enough has been said about the driveway....you get used to it. Had a bear leave muddy footprints on the porch and hot tub cover the first night. So if you really want to see a bear, it shouldn't be too hard. Communication with the property manager is excellent and quick. If you are looking for a great getaway....look no further. We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to bring our family back in a couple years.
