About this property

The Captain’s House. Sleeps 12, full kitchen and parking. 3 blocks from the Gulf

Recently redecorated. Our upstairs provides lots of room for lots of family members. We have parking for a boat or water toys and motorcycles . We provide a BBQ ( gas) on the deck. Full kitchen with all needed cooking supplies, full tv in each room entertainment, and we love dogs and cats. 4 blocks from beach ( with public access) .04 miles to St Andrews State Park. Walking distance to over 20 local restaurants. My husband is a Local Boat Captain that has knowledge of local diving, fishing trips, dolphin tours, surfer and kite boarding lessons. My husband and I are 7th generation locals. We welcome you to our home. We recently added new appliances and new bedding and towels.

Will definitely stay here again. Convenient location, clean with comfortable beds in every bedroom. No issues with parking vehicle or boat. Very pet friendly! Hosts were very easy to communicate with. Looking forward to going back again.

Family Trip

Our family stayed here 8 days July 2025. The house was immaculate. Rooms were large with plenty of sleeping area. There was also plenty of parking. Mrs. Lisa was a great host and was very helpful.

Family Vacation

We booked for the first tome and loved it. Lisa and her husband were excellent as hosts! We will definitely be staying here again on our next vacation. We loved the space and privacy. The full kitchen with stainless steel appliances was great and the decor was very nice. Loved that they had a grill for us to use. Loved this place for sure!!

The house was very close to the beach, 10 mins walking. 3 min drive. Rooms were perfect size for our family of 8. Quiet neighborhood close to a great state park beach and public beach access points up and down PCB. House had nice hot water, kitchen and Tv's in each room. 10/10 would stay again,

Best Location

Very nice property. Quiet neighborhood, was able to sleep peacefully. Very comfortable shower. Washer and dryer was top of the line of appliances so was the refrigerator too. Enjoyed our stay for 7 days. Attended a baseball tournament.

The Captain’s House

Hosts were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The open floor plan made for plenty of room for our 10 person group. Location is an 8 min walk from nearest beach access and 5 minute drive to some great shops and restaurants.

Won’t stay elsewhere

We were there for a family reunion. The house was better than I expected. My whole family, of 9 people, were quite comfortable and relaxed. Two blocks to great food & the beach! I highly recommend staying there, unless we are back in town!!

Awesome Hosts

We really enjoyed staying here. The owners were amazing. The house is beautiful and plenty of parking. The house had everything thing we needed for a comfortable stay. Every interaction with the hosts and the community was pleasant. Will definitely be back if they will have us.

Great family gateway!!!

I really enjoyed yeah OK this place. There were hardwood floors, three bedrooms and kitchen and the living room. What was cool about this place that had two bathrooms, a washer and dryer. In the mornings, I will go for a walk in the neighborhood and I will end up at the beach. It was fun and we brought our little dog with us too.

Great little hideaway!

This property is nice hidden gem! Just a short walk to the beach and right down the street from all fun spots. The rental is located right above the owner’s residence but that should not effect your decision to choose this property. The owner is super friendly and very accommodating. We plan on booking again when we get back in town for work. Thank you again Lisa for a wonderful trip (even though we were traveling for work and not pleasure).

Perfect in every way

Location and house were perfect for our family. We loved sitting out on the deck of an evening swinging in the hammock listening to music and chatting away. We walked to the beach and drove sometimes. Either way it’s fast getting your feet in the sand. Lisa couldn’t be anymore accommodating, and really sweet. Our family agreed this is our new go to place when traveling to Panama Beach. Thank you for an amazing vacation and hospitality

Close to beach areas!

It was an overall good experience, the location it's close to St. Andrew's State Park where we spent most of our time with family. Its also 5 minutes or less from public beach access. The property is located in a nice neighborhood. The amenities provided were good and working properly. The cleanliness could be better, the kitchen and living room floors felt dirty and sticky. Stove top was also dusty and had pet hair on it. The rest of the house was great and clean. The host were super friendly and helpful, they were always available. They helped me out with some tools to put together a beach wagon we purchased there!

Great vacation destination

Overall our week long stay was great! The upper level of the house is where you stay with the owner/renter living on the bottom floor. This does have its pros & cons. She responds quickly to msgs and can help if requested. We had 6 adults 2 kids and an infant totaling 9 but there was not enough beds for everyone even though the description said sleeps 12. We made it work, but if it were all adults staying here it wouldn’t have been as simple. I was also not aware that things like toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, trash bags, etc would not be supplied for our stay. I believe if the description was updated to make the buyer aware of these things the overall rating would be 5 stars. We did not bring beach supplies because it was stated that there would be some at the house for our use but was informed that there were none.

The property is very close to the beach. You can either walk or take a very short drive and find plenty of public beach parking. The upstairs was nicely renovated by the original owner who built the house and provided all the amenities you need. the owners occupy downstairs. We loved all the little touches the owners provided including welcome drinks and snacks. Perfect for adults or families. The kitchen was well stocked and the nice Weber grill on the deck was perfect for grilling when you did not want to cook in the house. Owners even provided beach gear if you needed it. Very responsive and hospitable. Nice big flat screens in every room and the wifi was fast! Definitely would recommend.

Beautiful Home

This is a beautiful home upstairs. The owners were great to work with. Their home is very nice and clean. Not far from the beaches and St. Andrew Park.
