Perfect accomodation for a stay with familiy and friends

Two houses with everything you need for a perfect holiday. Lots of space in the upper house. Large bedrooms, large kitchen, perfect pool and an astonishing view over the sea from the terrace. You won't find a better place. 100% recommended, and we'll come again some time. Big thanks to Martin and Francisco

A group of 6 of us from the USA enjoyed our stay at Casa Corona despite having to endure Storm Therese, including closure of the road to Roque de los Muchachos and the Route of the Volcano hike.The house was spacious, well equipped, and offered nice views of the ocean and the stars on the rare times when it was not raining. Francisco was very kind and friendly and helpful when needed. Martin was very easy to work with.However, there is one big thing that should be improved. The directions to take LP-1 to just past the 85km sign to the road up the hill were good, and we found the turn off to the house easily in the dark. But going up the hill near the end for the first time when we arrived was very challenging. It was dark and raining. We were unfamiliar with the road and so we were going too slow and got stuck near the top on the steep and wet road. We are lucky that Francisco came to help and was able to get the car moving up the hill again. The instructions from Martin in a VRBO email also said to keep going up the road until the end where you will see the orange house. At night, it is not possible to see this. So, a first-time visitor would keep driving up the hill past the sharp right turn to the house until the road disappears, then would have to back down the steep and narrow road. So signs or arrows would improve this situation. On the following days, it was not a problem to drive up the road to the house, since then we knew the way and how to maneuver the road.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus. Das Haus war super ausgestattet, sehr sauber und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Man hat sich von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Francisco, der sich jederzeit zuverlässig und freundlich um alle Belange gekümmert hat. Vielen Dank für die tolle Betreuung – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Perfekter Ablauf, sehr netter Gastgeber und tolle Betreuung vor Ort. Man muss sich klar sein wenn man das Haus besucht hat man viele Treppen, es liegt am Hang und man hat eine wunderbare Aussicht auf das Meer. Die Ausstattung ist sehr sehr gut, in der Küche ist alles was man benötigt vorhanden. Selbst Ersatzrollen Toilettenpapier waren da. Wir waren begeistert auch wenn für uns die vielen Treppen doch manchmal sehr anstrengend waren. Wenn man am Flughafen ankommt geht die Entspannung schon los, kurz dem perfekten Betreuer Francisco eine SMS geschrieben wann man etwa im Haus ankommt und alles ist vorbereitet, sogar am Pool waren schon die bequemen Auflagen auf den Liegestühlen! Wir entdeckten jeden Tag etwas neues, es waren einfach spannende 7 Tage auf einer wirklich schönen Insel in einem tollen Ambiente. Auch die Blumen auf dem Tisch, im Badezimmer, wie in einem 5 Sterne Hotel, alles sehr liebevoll hergerichtet und sauber.Wenn ich meckern muss dann nur dass in der Nähe des Wohnbereiches keine Toilette ist, man muss erst ca. 10 Treppenstufen hoch gehen. Sorry, mehr kann man hier nicht meckern, es war einfach wunderbar...Sollte man einen Regentag erwischen wie wir, dann macht es Euch am Kamin bequem, Bücher, Spiele auch an das ist gedacht und natürlich an genügend Feuerholz....Kurz gesagt : *Traumaufenthalt in einem Traumanwesen*

Atemberaubender Traum Aufenthalt

Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns in der wunderschönen Villa wohlgefühlt. Das offene Konzept ist einladend und gemütlich. Es wurde an alles gedacht und die Ausstattung ist in allen Bereichen mehr als großzügig. Der Pool und die wunderschöne Anlage um das gesamte Haus lädt zum entspannen und erholen ein. Ein besonderes Dankeschön an den Hausherrn und den Verwalter die mit ihrer Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft nicht zu übertreffen sind. Herzlichen Dank für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub!

Traumhaftes Anwesen in wunderschöner Lage

Unglaublich schönes Objekt in einer traumhaften Lage. Der Werwalter ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besondere Highlights sind der beheizte Salzwasserpool, die Sauna und die Whirlwanne. Die Villa bietet sehr viel Platz und ist weitläufig. Der Blick ist atemberaubend und die Auffahrt ebenso. Die Ausstattung ist sehr modern. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Einfach traumhaft!

Es waren wirklich tolle 3,5 Wochen in diesem wunderbaren Haus. Es war alles genauso, wie wir es uns vorgestellt hatten: viel Platz, viel Ruhe, Spielmöglichkeiten für die Kinder, einen traumhaften Ausblick aufs Meer und Klimaanlage in den Schlafräumen. Rundum perfekt. Verwalter Francisco hat sich mit seiner Frau zusammen rührend um uns gekümmert, jede Woche wurde eine Zwischenreinigung gemacht und Pool und Garten wurden fast täglich gepflegt. Die Reservierung und der Kontakt im Vorfeld mit Martin war sehr sympathisch und meine vielen Fragen wurden mir alle beantwortet. Auch Empfehlungen zur Automietstation waren sehr hilfreich. Also alle in einem Wort: TOP!!!!

Surprising villa in a quiet environment

The villa is located at the end of a rural road near the top of a hill. It is a bit of a challenge to get all the way up the road by car, but it is definitely worth the effort. Once you´ve arrived uphill, the views over the ocean and the woods are unique. The design of the villa creates light and views from any angle. Francisco, who manages the property locally, gave us very helpful instructions before and when we arrived, and he is your best guide for the island, always available for any troubleshooting if needed. Be ready to live surrounded by nature, there are plenty of lizards (La Palma has its own unique species of lizard) and birds in the garden. If you want to live the island of la Palma, and relax in a beautiful natural environment we absolutely recommend this property.

El alojamiento ha estado bien, tiene donde distraerse uno entre futbolin, basket, ping pong .. buena zona de la isla para coger sol.. Pero tab tengo pegas,, mucho calor dentro de la propiedad,,, poco iluminada en exterior y almohadas mejorables.

Me alegro que han disfrutado la estancia. Que pena que no hablan nada a Francisco que vive cerca sobre los problemas que habia. El esta tambien para resolver esto. Tenemos mas parasoles si hace falta y tambien tenemos mas Almohadas. Solamente hay que décir algo. Por favor da nos la possiblidad mejorar los problemas antes de quejar despues! Saludos Martin.

Wunderschöne Umgebung - genau das Richtige zum Abschalten!

Traumhafte Lage - man fühlt sich richtig wohl mit Blick auf das Meer, die Berge und den Wald. Die gesamte Anlage bietet unheimlich viel - schwimmen, Sauna, Jacuzzi, wunderbare Sitzecken zum träumen oder lesen, und eine herrliche Ruhe. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen!

Es wird viel an Freizeitspaß geboten - Tischtennis, Kicker, Basketball, Pool, Sauna & sehr schöne Gartenanlage. Da verbringt man auch gerne mal die Zeit im Feriendomizil.

Ein klasse Familienurlaub

Vielen Dank an Martin und Francisco, wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub in der Villa Corona. Der Kontakt mit Martin und Francisco war angenehm. Das Haus und die Insel sind Wundervoll. Wir waren mit 10 Personen im Haupthaus und im Poolhaus untergebracht, der Platz war vollkommen ausreichend. Die Ausstattung des Hauses lässt keine Wünsche offen, man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wie Zuhause. Wir alle möchten uns nochmal für die Wundervolle Zeit in der Villa Corona bedanken.

"Top of the World" pleasure and comfort

This was our first time to the Canaries and we specifically wanted a quiet retreat to relax and rejuvenate. Villa Corona was a perfect fit for us. All the lovely spaces inside and out to enjoy, the ambiance and of course the view is truly amazing. Our beds were super cozy and extent of amenities available in the house were more than we could hope for. This place is a gem to rent. Martin and Fransisco were very easy and responsive to communicate with and the lovely little town of Tirajafe offered all we needed for food, beverages, etc. We found a couple of delightful restaurants close by to enjoy as well. We ventured to the top of the Volcano on a spectacular day - well worth the drive. Then we ventured into Santa Cruz where we lucked out and had lunch at Parilla i Los Braseros - a must go treasure of a place. We also made it to Porto Tazacorte one afternoon and feasted on a local freshly grilled seafood entry featuring 3 types of fish - that was out of this world - YUM We are just thrilled we made the trip and we would gladly return.

A beautiful villa surrounded by nature

My husband, 17 year old son and I stayed at Villa Corona for 5 days and wished we had more time there! We were amazed at how much the surroundings reminded us of Colorado in the US. The house is beautiful and was perfect for 3 people, despite its size. This would also be a perfect house for a large group. The kitchen was excellently stocked and we made dinner nightly at the villa. The surroundings are beautiful....if you love nature and hiking it is the perfect villa. The pool was fabulous, even on days when the mist almost covered the sun. Francisco, the caretaker, was extremely helpful and always available. We loved our surprise bottle of cava and flowers on arrival. We loved Villa Corona and hope to return one day!

Beautiful dream villa in an idyllic setting

We were a group of thirteen friends and family spending Christmas and the New Year in La Palma. Villa Corona is exceptionally beautiful, well equipped and spacious. Our group was mix of ages with different needs and interests and there was plenty of space for everyone including lots of quiet corners to read, reflect and enjoy the view and tranquillity of the location. There are many choices in the vicinity for recreation and sightseeing including snorkelling and scuba diving, hiking and walking, mountain biking, visiting the local farmers market in Punta Gorda and visiting Los LLanos which is nearby and which is a very pleasant little town with many artisan shops and good restaurants. Tijarafe is a colourful small village with plenty of shops and restaurants and with the spacious kitchen in the villa, cooking at home was for us always the first choice. Villa Corona is surrounded by orange orchards, and fragrant herbs such as rosemary, mint and thyme and one finds also avocados, pomegranates, lemons and apples. We would literally make breakfast from what was available around the villa. There is also exceptionally nice local yogurt made from goats milk that you will find in the shops. Fransesko is the housekeeper who was always at hand if needed but otherwise villa Corona is a very private place. We hope to have the opportunity to visit this beautiful place again. Paradies im Grünen

Wir haben mit 14 Personen eine unvergessliche und wunderschöne Zeit in der Villa Corona verbracht. Die gesamte Ferienhausanlage ist sehr gut durchdacht, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Der Poolbereich ist auf maximale Sonnenscheindauer ausgerichtet. Am Abend blickt man vor dort aus genau auf den Sonnenuntergang, den man auch aus der Sauna oder dem großen Küchen-/Wohnbereich mit Panoramafenstern bewundern kann. Und dann kommt der Sternenhimmel, den man ebenfalls sehr gut aus der Sauna, von den Terrassen, aus der Außenbadewanne oder durch das Glasdach des Haupthauses beobachten kann. Die Schlafzimmer wurden für uns so hergerichtet, dass wir ausreichend Beistellbetten hatten, um separat schlafen zu können. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Ruhe rund um die Villa Corona hat uns eine perfekte Nachtruhe beschert. Die Bäder und die Küche sind perfekt ausgestattet. Ersatzhandtücher und das Verbrauchsmaterial was man eben im Bad so braucht, waren in ausreichender Stückzahl vorhanden. In der Küche fanden wir neben allen Küchengeräten und Hilfsmitteln (Handrührgerät, Toaster, Saftpresse, Knoblauchpresse, Pfannen, Töpfe, SCHARFE (!) Messer) auch einen Grundstock an Gewürzen, Spülmittel (auch für die Spülmaschine) usw. Neben einer Filterkaffeemaschine sind auch eine "French Press" und mehrere Bialetti-Espressokannen für den Gasherd vorhanden, so dass jeder Kaffeegeschmack bedient werden kann. Francisco (der Caretaker) hat dafür gesorgt, dass es uns an nichts mangelte, auch nicht an Informationen über die Insel, zu Aktivitäten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Gastronomie etc. Er ist sehr, sehr freundlich und geduldig und spricht sehr gut deutsch. Insgesamt waren wir alle begeistert von der Villa Corona. Wir hatten weniger den Eindruck, dass wir eine von vielen Gruppen oder Familien sind, die dieses Ferienhaus bewohnen. Vielmehr haben wir uns gefühlt, als ob wir bei jemandem zu Gast sein dürfen, der sein Haus und seinen Garten liebt und der alles tut, damit sich seine Gäste wohlfühlen. Noch einmal vielen Dank für die unvergessliche Zeit in der Villa Corona, die wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen können.
