Everything was perfect until check-out. The landlord sent a very rude text about us being past the 10:30 checkout. I mistakenly thought it was at 11 so it was right at 11 when we left. There was no need for the rudeness. I was really taken aback.
Perfect two bedroom home just blocks away from my son's residence hall. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. I will probably try to schedule again during his university time.
We stayed here while visiting CMU with our son. The location is fantastic for seeing the college. The host was very responsive to our communication, and everything went smoothly. I would definitely stay here again.
We traveled with our kids to visit CMU and turned our preview day into a long weekend. We had an easy walk to CMU and the house was well located for all of our other outings. Thank you for a great stay!
We booked this house for a quick trip to see our CMU student! The location was perfect, within walking distance to campus and close to all our favorite stops. It was very clean and has a great layout. We cooked breakfast each morning and had everything we needed to do so. Note to future guests, the kitchen has a Keurig and a regular coffee pot. We spent evenings playing some of the games the owner supplied, which was really nice. One of the biggest pros to this location is also a con, the location. It is on a busy street and right on the other side of a commuter parking lot. Lots of visitors on Saturday night with loud music. So, if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs or a sound machine 😉
This property was perfect for being super close to the university, which is what we needed it for. The house was clean, organized and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!
Suited my need perfectly.
Host was very helpful, communicated well with details.
Loved property location immediately next to Colorado Mesa University.
Will stay again sometime.
My son and I stayed here for a baseball tournament at CMU and this is the perfect location for baseball and after baseball festivities. The unit was clean and well stocked and communication with the owner was prompt and easy. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Grand Junction.
We booked this property for our stay in Grand Junction to visit family. Communication & checking in went pretty well. On our first night after coming back to the residence later at night, we discovered many large cockroaches running around on the front step. We entered the residence after killing a couple of them. We decided given the late hour, to contact the owner in the morning—hoping they were only outside. Before going to bed, we discovered one in the bathroom & killed it. 😫 We took pictures of the roaches after we killed them. We packed up our things in the morning, left the home, & did not return for the remainder of our stay. We also contacted the owner in the morning, & he waited over 8 hours to reply. We asked for a refund for the remainder of our stay, & he replied with a 5% off our next stay & no refund. Just a tip—if you see roaches be sure to video them before you kill them. Otherwise VRBO cannot help you.
We had a great stay after our boys finished the CMU Swim Camp and helped with the Special Olympics State Game. We LOVED the little house. It was perfect for our group!
Just as others have mentioned the house was very clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and centrally located. My family had a wonderful stay and the house fit our needs perfectly. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed and the house was well appointed. We’d definitely stay there again!

Perfectly close to campus
The house was exactly where we needed it and in lovely condition. It is directly next to current construction, but it is what it is being that close to campus so no complaints. The crews do start at 6:30am every day and you can't hear a peep with the windows closed. A quiet and convenient place to stay.
We enjoyed our stay in Grand Junction. The property was clean and well cared for. We only had a couple days . We enjoyed the downtown area and spent a day at the Grand Mesa.
