There need to be instructions when you check in and out. There was nothing. We went down on Friday for Funeral for my husbands mother. We didn't get code for gate until after 4:00 didn't work. we spent half an hour trying to get in, they finally buzzed thru the gate. We had Rosary at 6:00, barely got there on time. We booked this 3 weeks ahead, when we got there master bed not made, someone's stuff in bathroom, toilet was dirty in two of the bathrooms. We had to look all over for everything. For the money, not impressed. We have stayed in many VRBO's and the houses for clean and had instructions on what to do and where to find items. It was like they weren't expecting us.Won't be booking this one again.

That said, several points in your review are not consistent with the documented communication during your stay. You were provided with a detailed welcome message prior to arrival, including entry instructions and your keypad code, as well as a handwritten welcome note at the home. When you reached out at 4:52 PM regarding entry, we responded within minutes and ensured you were promptly admitted through the gate. Regarding the condition of the home, you are correct that the master suite was not fully completed at check-in. This was a breakdown in our housekeeping process, and we addressed it immediately—dispatching our housekeeper back to the property, confirming where additional linens were located, opening the gate for the duration of your stay, and offering both a late checkout and a goodwill gesture. At no point during the remainder of your stay were additional concerns raised, and we remained available throughout. We take cleanliness and guest communication very seriously. This issue has been addressed at a process level to ensure it does not recur. Our four-year history of consistent 5-star reviews reflects the standard our guests typically experience. We appreciate your stay and wish you the best.

Such a lovely house!

We had a great adults only family reunion over 4th of July weekend. The property was beautiful and well situated for exploring the town. The communication with the property manager was excellent. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again.
