A uniquely eccentric vacation getaway for families & friends. This space was created to bless & entertain generations with no screens & lots of fun! There is an outdoor oasis, playground, zipline, massage chair, hammock, obie projector game & so many other special attributes. Located intentionally in the middle of nowhere...Where Ahh is all you think when you arrive!

Great girls weekend, hunting/ fishing hold up, outdoor kids birthday party, silent retreat, or family adventure ...The possibilities are endless!!!

We had an amazing time here. Lots of outdoor space to run, play, and explore. Deena was very responsive in her communication. It was the perfect place for our weekend getaway with our kids.

Had great time with our small family!

We really enjoyed our stay! It's a great setup for a family. Deena was very kind and even had some small toys and crafts for our children when we arrived. We enjoyed the outdoors, fireplace, hot tub, and the children really enjoyed the outdoor playground. Would recommend it to anyone.

This place was such a cute getaway from home, definitely new scenery all around, it was nice to have a fun and relaxing time while our kids played around! Although it rained a lot, there was still more fun inside!

What a Fun Place!

We and our five grandchildren spent four nights and did day trips to Kitty Hawk, Merchants Millpond State Park, and Jockey's Ridge State Park. Legacy Lodge was a perfect place for us because of the simple but comfortable accommodations and the multitude of fun onsite activities for the kids. There was no boredom, just fun at every turn. The setting is very rural, beautiful, and peaceful. Everything was in very good working order. Kitchen equipment is basic but adequate. We did have not have a good way to boil water for pasta, etc., for example. But we adapted and we would certainly stay here again if in the area.

What a great place for quality family time

This is our second stay. We brought all 5 grandchildren this time and we all had a great time. The age range is 4 a 11 years old (3 boys, 2 girls) and there was plenty of things for every one of the kids to do. The zip lines where the biggest hit but they also enjoyed the costumes to play dress up. Jungle Jim and seesaw. Balls to play kickball and soccer. We did s’mores and grilled hamburgers and hotdogs every night. The local pizzerias filled in the gaps for lunch. We brought a camping stove to fix breakfast but there are several cozy diners for those that prefer to have someone else do the cooking. The bonus was no tv or computers. We put all the phones and electronic games away and actually enjoyed each others company for the entire weekend. We highly recommend this remote getaway for some quality family time.
