Welcome to your own authentic Swiss Chalet in the rolling hills of Green County, just minutes from the fun town of New Glarus!

This beautiful and spacious home would be perfect for a family reunion of all ages. With lots of rooms, comfy beds, plenty of green space, your own pool, multiple kitchens, balconies, a grill, fire pit, and a sauna, your stay here will not disappoint.

The private pool is heated, well maintained, clean, clear and FUN!!! We have a strict 10pm outdoor quiet hours b/c of distance to neighbors.

New liner, heater and saltwater pool added 2022!!

Kitchen and all bathrooms renovated 2023!

Great place for a relaxing gathering

We enjoyed our annual friend's gathering at this location. TONS of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves!! Would be a fantastic place in the summer, as there's a pool.

A lot of space

We had a party of 13 and we had plenty of space. The pool was a huge hit and it was nice having a kitchen right off the pool. We enjoyed our time in town!

Perfect for a large family of 11-6 adults 5 children

Check-in was easy via VRBO messages.There are 2 full kitchens so the families could spread out. Children loved the pool. The landscaping is beautiful. This home is 5 minutes from New Glarus so we were able to watch turkeys and their 8 poults. We also saw a young buck grazing in the meadow. We highly recommend this beautiful chalet.

Family Memories

Cozy family home with ample space to sprawl out throughout 3 floors. Two kitchens allowing thoughtful meal preparation. The kids really enjoyed the pool and sauna. The grounds are private with very beautiful large trees. The sounds of nature in the am while drinking coffee from the deck were wonderful. Property was perfect. We were there for a bachelor party and the house was big and clean. Perfect balconies overlooking the front yard and pool area. Pool was perfect! A lot of brush surrounding. The sauna may have been the best part of this house! Be sure to use quiet hours at 10, although, you do not have any direct sight of any houses. Would recommend for larger groups!

Swiss hide away in New Glarus

The property is very nice plenty of room for large family or big group. House was a little warm because of weather and setting on t-stat But other than the one day that we had other family stop by we didn’t get to spend much time at the house. We did get to enjoy the pool one day. The sauna was a nice hit as well The kitchen upstairs and on the lower level was very handy. All in all we would stay there again for sure if the whole family is able to travel all at once again Thank you to Hans and family for sharing this wonderful home so others can enjoy it and the area.

Wonderful Swiss Chalet

This was a great place to stay for our family gathering (grandparents,3married children with 3 grandchildren). There was plenty of space - bedrooms, play rooms, kitchens. Small things like a highchair, safety gate, and pack and play were very much appreciated. The host was very responsive to our questions and needs from making sure we had plenty of baking dishes, to firewood and other needs. The small town this is close to is a delight; we walked into town several times. Our family is already talking about a return trip.

Great Place!

Property was very nice. There are four bedrooms upstairs, master on the main floor, and then another bedroom in the basement. There is a lot of space and everyone is our party had an excellent time here. We also went to Bailey's Run Vineyard for a day. The majority of our time was spent at the pool, which was heated and both the kids and adults loved it! Overall, great place and would for sure rent again!

Swiss getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at the Chalet. The pool and private back yard was absolutely beautiful, and I can't forget the amaizing views from the multiple balconies. The house honestly transformed us into another world the decor and woodwork was spot on. I highly recommend this beautiful home for your vacation.
