Beautiful property! Perfect for family gathering. The place was clean and well maintained. Pet friendly. Plenty of dishes, linens, and other extras. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to get away and relax. The screened in porch was amazing for a rainy weekend! I’m glad I had an SUV because the dirt roads leading up to the house were pretty water logged and I had to drive through some deep water.

Very comfortable, well supplied with all necessities. The beds were comfortable. Our only disappointment was that it rained every day so we couldn't hang out around a campfire. Fortunately The TV in the living room had LOTS of free channels, so we caught up on missed episodes and sampled a few others. We would not hesitate to request a stay at this location at some time in the future. The screened in back "porch" was awesome!

This VRBO was again everything I needed in a quiet secluded getaway.The beds were so inviting, I wanted just to climb in and fall asleep.It was one of the hottest summer days on my recorded record.The air conditioning worked perfectly and it was quiet.I am so tempted to keep this VRBO gem to myself.Communication with the host was pure perfection.I can't wait to stay here again.

Our third stay here and doesn’t disappoint. Seclusion is so nice for a get-a-way from urban home. Our pups love the spacious area outside. Everything you need is available including access to on-site firewood.

We have been coming to castle rock lake every summer for over 30 years and this has to be my favorite place we’ve stayed. It was perfect for everyone ages 7 to 73! Very clean, very spacious, it was private and had everything we needed. We especially loved the screen porch area, it was a favorite spot to hang out and entertain. Highly recommend!

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It was very peaceful and relaxing (we spent a lot of time in the screen porch which was great)! The home had everything we needed and more. We highly recommend Rocky Road Ice Cream :) Communication with the host was fantastic. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Quiet get away

Very secluded and quiet

We absolutely loved our stay here. The place was immaculately clean and had so many spaces to chill out and hang out as a family before we dropped our oldest off at college. We opted to rent the bunk house for him to have his own space and he loved it! So dark at night and quiet. Perfectly located by our favorite places to visit in the area and very private. We will definitely stay here again! The screen in porch was our favorite spot at night!

Wonderful Hideway

Would go back immediately. As a matter of fact, we tried to book for the Fourth of July but it was taken. Personally, I think staying there for the summer would be even better. We went because our dogs love the snow and if they could talk, they would tell you they loved as well.

Very clean place ,peaceful, and close to the lake. I would recommend bringing your own top flat sheet. Owner said that wasn't provided. I Don't get it but keep that in mind.

We have duvet covers so that’s why we didn’t provide flat sheets ( we have another rental property and it was never mentioned to us that they are also needed ) but good news :) after your phone call I bought flat sheets and they are available for guests :) so thank you for pointing this to me ! Family Fun

We spent the 4th of July weekend with our family. We have stayed here numerous times. This time we brought my nieces and their children. The kids loved playing in the screened in porch and garage with all of the toys. This was the first time that we also rented the small house. It was perfect for our needs. The host is wonderful. She is very responsive and helpful. The house as always was spotless. We can’t wait to go back!

Feels Like Home

We have stayed at this property numerous times. I open the door and it feels like home. The place is spotless and comfy. The back porch is my happy place. This weekend was cold and rainy. We lit a fire in the fireplace, bundled up in coats and blankets, played board games and enjoyed each others company. The porch is also awesome in the summer, no bugs. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO’s and this host is the most responsive of all. Would highly recommend for families, couples, and children.

Total Relaxation

We stayed at this property last summer and couldn’t wait to get back. We went up last weekend for a quick get away. It felt like home. The place is spotless. Our favorite is the screened in porch with the wood burning fireplace. We bundled up and spent our evenings there. We have booked this place for the 4th of July for a family trip with my nieces and their children. They will love the place. The garage is filled with riding toys, bikes, a ping pong table, you name it. Kate is a wonderful host. Very responsive. I would highly recommend this property.
