Lakefront 3-bedroom cottage with private dock & amazing sunset view

This charming lakefront cottage gives you a bright & airy feel throughout with a stunning sunset view over Lake Petenwell. Our cottage is decked out in a beach theme and the 3 bedrooms have a total of 5 beds. The 3rd bedroom is tucked off the back corner of the house for ultimate privacy. Fast streaming internet allows you to stay connected or binge watch your favorite series. Watch our smart TV in the living room or enjoy the 65" TV in our rec room where you can raise the garage door to enjoy the lake view or tailgate and grill outside while the game plays on the big screen. If you are into coffee then you might enjoy our well received coffee bar in the kitchen.

If you’re into the outdoors, you’ll find fishing from your own private dock during the summer & ATV/snowmobile trails along with miles of hiking trails right out the front door. Enjoy cooking smores or a tasty beverage at our lakeside firepit while the sun sets. Within walking distance to the county park, gorgeous beach, boat launch, marina & bar / restaurant. Lake Petenwell is the 2nd largest lake at 23,000 acres and connects to the Wisconsin River offering over 20 miles of boating for all types of watercraft. There are multiple beaches, restaurants / bars, pontoon rentals, and even a marina with gas on the water. Enjoy great fishing year round.

A short drive from golf courses such as Sand Valley, Lake Arrowhead, & Northern Bay, public hunting, casino, Dyracuse Recreation Park, Wisconsin Trapshooting complex, and ~45 minutes from the WI Dells & so much more!

For security purposes, our cottage has two external audio video recording devices. One above garage door facing driveway and front door and a second one on the southeast corner of our cottage facing the back yard.

This sweet cottage provided everything we needed. We enjoyed making s’mores around the fire pit, fishing on the private dock, using the dock for our kayaks and fishing boat, cooking family meals in the kitchen, and visiting the nearby county park’s beach and boat launch. We had a great time!

Property was great, and well kept. It was just under an hour drive to the water parks in the Dells. Fishing was good and having the boat launch so near was a major plus. The pass required for the launch also covers other near by places including the Wisconsin River launch that is 15 minutes away which was good because unfortunately our trip coincided with an algae bloom on Petenwell. There were some awesome hiking locations nearby as well.

This property was great! The dock was perfect for fishing and is in a great spot. Also the dock has padding compatible with almost any watercraft. Was able to pull my jetski right up to the house.The house has everything we needed!

Great Space!

I had stayed here in January, which is why I booked it again for July. It's a great, clean house that is in wonderful condition. It has a great view of the lake & a yard to hang out in while enjoying the view. I would bet good money that I will rent this house again.

Great Fishing Getaway

This property had a great view of the lakefront and could watch the sunset each evening. Had a great time fishing off the shore with family and friends. Would highly consider returning here again.

Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect cottage for our annual girls weekend. The property was just as described with ample space, generous accommodations, and a very responsive host. It was a close drive to restaurants and shopping and the view of the lake was picturesque. We would definitely stay there again.
