Newly remodeled and conveniently located.

Newly renovated upstairs 2-bedroom unit on Onyx Avenue near North Bayfront—a prime location. This cozy property (approximately 700 square feet) is just 1/2 block from the beach and 1 block from the main street with boutique stores, world-famous Balboa Bars, an old-fashioned candy shop, a market, and plenty of restaurants. Access the unit through a separate gate. The place has been thoughtfully remodeled, stocked with all new appliances, bathrooms, flooring, and a wall-length closet.

The master bedroom has a Cal King bed with a 3/4 bath attached. The second bedroom has a full-size bed and the adjoining bathroom includes a pocket shower. The main living area includes a large comfortable couch, a smart T.V., and a dinette table for four. The kitchen comes with all the basic essentials.

Finally, enjoy the ocean breeze, sunsets, and good conversation on the furnished rooftop deck. The island is just the right size to take an evening stroll while admiring the boats, water, homes, and fantastic gardens. True to island living, the neighbors are close, so this apartment is not the right rental for you if you are looking to host a party.

Location, location location.

If you want to be close to downtown Balboa Island this is the place to be. The apartment was clean and everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed our stay and were very satisfied.

Bright, charming and well located!

My family of four consisting of two adults and two boys ages 17 and 12 stayed for a week and can’t wait to come back! The unit is well designed and feels spacious. We loved sitting outside in the cute deck. The location is one block away from the Main Street, walking distance to a small market, restaurants, ice cream, bike rentals and more! We had everything we needed and barely used our car. Parking on the street not a problem throughout our week long stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Small, well designed, and perfect for us

This small yet very well designed and recently remodeled apartment is perfect (writing this in Aug 2021) for a quick trip. The bedrooms are small but each has its own bathroom, which makes them feel pretty luxurious. The patio is great for dining and socializing. Also, there is much to do on Balboa Island so we ended up spending very little time in the rental itself. The location is extremely close to the main street, but not so close you hear the noise. Main Street has everything you need and the owners are friendly, knowledgeable longtime locals who made us and our 12 year old niece feel very welcome.

Perfect for experiencing island living!

My husband, daughter and I stayed here for a few days and it was such a wonderful experience. We loved walking around the island, especially our 3 year old, as it was always easy to get back to the house if little legs got tired. The place was clean, and the host and family/neighbors were all friendly and great conversations were had! Parking on the island wasn’t too much trouble either, we were able to find parking spaces nearby anytime we left the island and came back. Our only downside is we wish we were able to stay longer! The sitting area outside the place is a beautiful way to wake up each morning and wind down each night. 10/10 would recommend and we hope to stay again soon!

Really enjoyed this place, would definitely come back. Only down side is that the 2nd bedroom is only a full bed which is difficult to sleep two adults. Think I assumed it was a queen. Regardless we had a great time and loved the very short walk to shops and restaurants. And the ferry was right there so we rode our bikeS all around. Property manager was very responsive and helpful too! Thanks!

Perfect Getaway!

I stayed here with my husband and baby and it was a wonderful experience! For starters Balboa Island magical. The unit we stayed in was beautifully prepared with a bottle of Rose and flowers. We had everthing we needed! The owners were friendly and kind and I already cannot wait to go back!

Hidden Gem

We had such a wonderful time staying in this little cottage. It was immaculate, cozy, well equipped and so close to everything. The hosts are the sweetest people who were so welcoming. Couldn’t get any better. Not sure we could stay anywhere else as this spot really set the bar high for our expectations. We can’t wait to book it again when it is available. Cute & reasonable

This place was so cute, patio area was nice, place was very clean supplied with everything. Was nice to come in with fresh flowers, candy left for us & wine and coffee for me, lol. Only thing is getting parking on the street but wasn't too bad actually. Highly recommend it. We walked everywhere then took the ferry to Newport Beach. Great for the price for the area your in!

This property was well above expectations. The location is prime for walking about the adorable town. The apt is very pretty, clean and comfortable. Great sheets and towels. The patio adds extra space. We were warmly welcomed by the homeowner and felt very much taken care of. Highly recommended.

Perfect Balboa Apartment

This was a new listing with no reviews, but it really looked nice and we took a chance. We could not have been happier! The property was even better than expected. It was clean, stocked with everything we could need and a perfect setup for our family of four. Location was awesome! The property manager was extremely helpful and responsive to all our questions, before and during our stay. We met the property owners as well during our stay… absolute salt-of-the-earth people, very interested in making our stay as welcome and comfortable as possible. No question we would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful Stay!

What a wonderful experience! Before even arriving Linda was so kind to allow us to have some items delivered to make the stay with our 3 month old easier. She was super helpful! We arrived to a saved parking spot right out front the house, and walked into a lovely clean, freshly updated space with fresh flowers, wine and local goodies waiting for us. The beds were both comfortable and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! The home is in such a great area! We so enjoyed everything about this place! Highly recommend!
