Great location! Loved being able to launch the included kayaks across the street. Host was very attentive and always available if we had any questions.
This house is a gem on Crystal River! Our group enjoyed taking the kayaks out from the house to banana island to see the manatees. Annie communication was great and very helpful. The only complaint was the air mattresses on the single bed frames in the 4th bedroom.
Endless amenities! This home was fully stocked. Annie is an amazing host. She was available for all questions no matter how insignificant. Very friendly and helpful
The house was in perfect shape and everything was as it was presented in the pictures. The pool was perfect for our needs and plenty of room if you wanted to lay or sit in the sun. This house has plenty of room. Kitchen was big and laid out nicely. Oven microwave stove and oven top with 5 eyes. I did see a grill but didn’t use it. Loved being right on the water and could sit in the rocking chairs with morning coffee looking at it. This house to being close to town you never heard anything. The neighborhood was friendly and quiet. The owner got sick but still checked in with me through the week several times to make sure everything was going as I wanted. I couldn’t find anything negative to put in here. They also had kayaks and dishing poles for use.

The home was nice.some things could of been better.but overall enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed the stay. The location was central to all the events we had planned. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The house is nice. The lighting is odd and takes some getting used to (look up, down and sideways to find all the switches and they are not all at the normal level). If you plan to sit on the porch, take and use bug spray. The internet and tv is Spectrum. It was not good on our visit. We used phone hotspots.
This was a great place to spend a week. The home is beautiful and the water views are even better. Owner was very helpful with recommendations for the area. Would definitely stay again.
This property is close to downtown Crystal River but located in a smaller neighborhood area. We were close to activities but the area was not overly busy. Pool was a little too cool in February, but that was expected. Beds were comfortable. Lots of activities and supplies in the house
We loved our stay and went out scalloping. We all had a wonderful time and the house was so comfortable.

About the host
Hosted by Annie M Greer
My veterinarian husband and I have owned three animal hospitals and I am a radio host and author. My early years were spent living in hotels, and that inspires me to always to provide the best in service to guests. I want your stay to be memorable for the right reasons! I am English by birth but American by choice However, I will NOT give up my love for English tea and there will always be some available for any Anglophiles. As a proud Granny I want to make a family vacation as easy as possible and can provide cribs, monitors and child utensils as well as games, books and toys for down time. NIne years ago we came to Crystal River and fell so in love with it that we have even commuted back and forth to Orlando to work. The people are wonderful, the choices for restaurants and bars fabulous, but, most of all it's a place where you can switch the phone off, take a deep breath and get in tune with nature again. Crystal River is now our permanent home so we are very much available if you need help with recommendations or anything else to make your stay more comfortable. We have a love of fishing and scalloping and are happy to help find you a captain to help you catch your dinner.
Why they chose this property
It's everything that sums up Florida, family and vacation! We fell in love with this house the moment we saw it. Enjoy beautiful views and wonderful porches where you can so easily imagine yourself sipping early morning coffee while contemplating nature at it's best and most unspoiled. The inside is very open and spacious. The kitchen is a dream, and there are lots of private nooks and crannies where you can sneak away to read a book. The pool is enclosed in a modern screen room and has a cute little table in the pool to rest your beverages while in the water. The grounds simply scream tropical and are huge, fully fenced, and perfect to have an informal game of corn hole, horse shoes or volley ball. Talk into the night while sitting around the large fire pit before you enjoy a restful night ready for tomorrows adventures. The property is very well placed to bring your boat, with a sea wall opposite as well as a close kayak launch.
What makes this property unique
Superb positioning on Kings Bay. Watch manatees from the front porch. Close to restaurants and amenities. Just minutes away by car to the famous Three Sister and Hunter Springs you could also paddleboard or kyak in about thirty minutes. Generally speaking if you wish to swim with the manatees you are best to go on one of the official tour boats which abound. Two hours driving to Central Florida's attractions, Tampa or the famous Gulf Shore Beaches. The immediate area has access to the Gulf for grouper or red snapper fishing, tarpon, snook, red fish and of course scalloping. Bear in mind there are limits and regulations on all these. There are several boat ramps within minutes and you can tie up opposite the property on a sea wall. Go to the FWC website for details. And don't forget YOU WILL NEED A LICENCE! Also able to do this easily online at the FWC website www.myfwc.com
