★ Beach View 2BR – Steps to Sand, Putting Green, Pickleball, BBQ ★

Enjoy the quiet, family friendly West end of PCB. We are located on the second floor of a low rise unit and located on the end with a private staircase. This means there are no neighbors on one side of you, no elevators and no over-crowded parking lots or beach congestion. We have 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The upstairs bedroom is a loft style, but is incredibly private. Everything has been thoughtfully curated and stocked with guests in mind. From the comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen, to the beach chairs and towels -- we have your needs in mind!

Recent upgrades include a putting green, horseshoes, pickleball area, covered picnic tables and BBQ grills. Guests can spend the day at the beach and then return to enjoy games and a cookout without ever leaving the complex.

Our favorite thing about this location is that you can be on the beach with just a few steps (beach access 72)! There is a convenient sand washing station and shower right in front of the building on your way back to the condo. And, the view on the patio is so relaxing!

We are also located just two miles from Pier Park and close to all the amenities this beautiful area offers!

Amazing condo

Our stay was wonderful! Communication was great from the very start! We have been staying in the Southwind condominiums for 20+ years! It’s always quiet and pleasant! The place was perfect for our family. Clean and everything we needed was there! I would definitely recommend staying here!

We found this wonderful condo in February 2023 and have rented numerous times since then. Every visit has found the property clean and ready for check in. The location of L8 is great at Southwind having the front patio facing the ocean and only steps to the sand. Parking is also great. Looking forward to many more rentals.

This was our 4th time to stay at this condo. Everything about the condo is great for us. Always clean, and ready for check in. First time that we had family stay and they loved the upstairs bedroom and bath. Southwind L8 is at a nice location away from other busy areas. Plan to book here in 2024.

Nice location

We have stayed at Southwind before, but not this corner unit second floor facing the beach. The only dislikes were all the cameras, especially the one inside. Also, there is no ice maker or ice bucket. There were only 2 ice trays and 1 leaked. It took 2 days to have enough ice for drinks and ice had to be placed in a ziplock bag. We did not do any cooking so I cannot review the range or oven, but the dishwasher and microwave worked well. It would be nice to have a small high top bistro table on the balcony so meals could be enjoyed with a view of the gulf. The bar inside does not face the windows, so again no dining view. Beach chairs & towels are well used & the beach umbrella was broken, so we didn’t try to use it. There was a nice beach wagon to load up all the things you may need, including lots of sand toys for children, but we did not use it either. We did contact the owner to see if we could check in 30 mins early, but received no response, so we just sat in the parking lot. There was a lot of sand on the sidewalks & parking lot, so to prevent tracking sand inside was a challenge. We never saw any condo maintenance. We did not utilize the pool in the back and sadly the tennis court has not been maintained. We love the quietness of the West End beaches. This unit was very clean and the king bed was comfortable. We would recommend staying here.

Why they chose this property

This is the best location in all of Southwind and the West End of PCB. Walk out your private entrance, go down the stairs and the beach access is directly across the street! There is a wash station on the way and you have a great view from the balcony without waiting on parking or elevators!

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with this condo because of the amazing views, combined with the easiest beach access of all condo complexes. No waiting in line for elevators, no crowded hallways or staircases and no congested parking lot. We love the tall, lofted ceilings and how bright and airy the unit is!
