Perfect get-a-way for the beach lovers! Relax on the balcony or take a very short walk to the beach (about 2 minutes!). Beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys and coolers available. Great fenced in backyard! Perfect for kids and pets.

Open floor plan makes it easy to relax and entertain. Flat screen TV. WiFi only. Nicely equipped kitchen.

Conveniently located on a quiet street in the center of South Padre Island. Close to the island hub of activity for dining and outdoor entertainment. The free island shuttle, THE WAVE, is close by to catch a free ride around the island. Can comfortably sleep six people. Parking for boat if arrangements made at time of reservation.

Great location and roomy for family

We walked to beach each day which has easy access. Enjoyed hanging out on deck and grilling in yard area. Easy walk to grocery store, rental carts.

SPI Visit

Our family really enjoyed our stay at The Seahorse! We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Fenced yard was a definite plus for our dogs! Short walk to beach was a definite plus!

Short stay but very comfortable

Unit was clean, easy to find and well stocked with cooking utensils. Short easy walk to the beach. Beach chairs and shade umbrella help keep us cool and out of the sun. Plan to stay again.

It couldn't have been better. Very good location and very clean. Nicely decorated, plenty of room. Beautiful yard to sit in and fenced yard bonus for our dog.

Perfect getaway

This cute little beach house was perfectly located to the beach and several restaurants and shops, all within walking distance. The house has a beautiful fenced in backyard with a table and chair for outside dining. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Beach towels and many beach items, including chairs, toys, coolers, boogie boards and coolers. Rose is an outstanding host and provided instant communication about restaurants, shopping and golf cart rentals. Highly recommend and we would definitely return.

First time SPI holiday

The beach home surpassed our expectations! It was very clean, and provided 3 wonderful, separate bedrooms for our whole family. You could see the Gulf from the balcony and it really was only a 4-5 minute walk to the amazing beach :) It was well stocked with everything you need for a beach holiday. It also provided a great, fenced backyard for our pug to roam around in. I recommend it highly and our hopes are to return soon.

A place like home

Our stay at Rose’s place was quite wonderful. My family and I had an amazing time. There was 6 of us plus our furr babies and there was enough space for us without feeling too crowded. The 2 1/2 bathrooms was a major plus along with the beautifully decorated backyard with a patio set which allowed us to sit and watch our babies roam around without fear of them getting out of the backyard. Rose and Ezzat created a stunning view with beautiful plants and flowers along the backyard privacy fence. We all really enjoyed the view as we cooked out and enjoyed family time. There was a grill already present so we didn’t have to bring one of our own. Very convenient. We did a lot of cooking so it was very helpful that the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook including utensils to bbq. The upstairs patio was great for sitting outside and drinking coffee while looking out at the beautiful backyard scenery. The beach is within walking distance and there is even a beach access very close by. We loved having a washer and dryer. It was nice to do laundry before leaving so that was one less things to do once back home. We had the privilege of meeting Rose and Ezzat. They were the most nicest and welcoming people you could meet. There was a storm the day of checkout and Rose allowed us to stay until it passed. We really enjoyed our stay, would recommend this stay without a doubt and would definitely return in the future. Thank you Rose and Ezzat!!

Everything was great. Rose was awesome. House was very welcoming. The only downside is from the listing you can't tell that the only access to the house is by 23 stairs. This might make it difficult for some.

Always a good experience

Just finished another trip at this property. We continue to return due to Rose’s hospitality, the beautiful yard, the very short walk to the beach (under five minutes), the beach amenities (chairs, toys, towels), and having pretty much everything we need for an extended weekend trip. You may want to pack your own baking sheets/muffin pans but she has most other kitchen items. We love visiting SPI and this house is quaint and perfect for our small family to enjoy the beach.

Perfect beach rental!!!

This is one of the best vacation rentals we have experienced. The pictures don't do it justice. Very clean, well stocked, comfortable beds, pet friendly, updated decor with the perfect beach vibe. The host was so kind and responsive. Just a short walk to the beach and close to lots of restaurants, shops etc. Would definitely stay here again and certainly plan to!! We ate at Sea Ranch for dinner and Palms on the Beach for breakfast- both were great!!

Family Vacation

This house was lovely and we enjoyed our stay. There were six adults and two dogs in the house and all were comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony in the mornings with coffee and the evenings visiting with each other in the ocean air. I love the ocean and this was my first time at South Padre Island. We will definitely be back. The owner was very accommodating to our requests. A great place.

South Padre June 2024

We enjoyed our stay. The owner, Rose, was very attentive and easy to contact and communicate with. The house was clean and just as it was described. It was a close walk to the beach. There were beach chairs and an umbrella we could use. The house is close to everything. You could walk, but the heat was too much the last week of June, so we rented a golf cart to get around. You won’t regret staying here.

Perfect Beach house!

Great place to stay with plenty of space for our 2 kids, us and our therapy dog! The unit was very clean and the property manager was quick to respond to any questions. It is convenient to a grocery store and not far from the entertainment district and great restaurants! The beach access nearest to the unit was well maintained and we enjoyed taking our dog for a walk every day on the beach. The neighborhood was nice and quiet in the evenings. The backyard was beautifully decorated and comfortable to spend evenings and daytime relaxing in.

Great location

Loved our stay, great for teen, elder grandparents and dog. 1 block from beach access, plenty of fishing opportunities, close to store and restaurants as well as bus route. We loved our accomodations and did full Thanksgiving dinner. Only drawback was that we couldn't watch Cowboy's game but I brought my kindle and streamed on my TV service. Great fenched yard and balcony. Very nicely decorated and honey. We appreciate the host for excellent communication. Thanks for everything and helping make great family memories.

A little piece of heaven

House was clean and decorated nice. Had kitchen if you want to cook. House has cute back yard with a hose to wash dogs or your feet. 2 blocks walking to beach. Nice places to eat all around. Laid back and just easy!
