The Cabin was clean and spacious. Perfect for a couple. The outdoor space was private and we enjoyed a nice camp fire with the wood provided. We were close to the Elk Visitors Center. Saw the Elk heard twice at the Viewing Area during our stay. We will stay there again next time we visit Benezette. Highly recommend the Hillbilly Hilton.

Perfect location

This cabin has everything you need for a short getaway in Elk country. We saw several elk during our travels. And a black bear in the field next to us! Peaceful quiet location right off the main road. Easy drive to all the viewing sights in Benezette and Quehanna wild woods. The bed was very comfortable, king size. Also has a twin bed in the same room if needed. The kitchen has all the basic items and supplies for easy meal preps. The water isn't drinkable, but lots of bottled water was supplied. The bathroom shower was nice, great water pressure. Temperature was very comfortable for our stay. Air conditioning was awesome. The cabin was spotless. There was a fire ring out back, but we didn't use it. But I did relax in the comfy Adirondack chairs. I recommend the cabin and would stay again

Spacious and Cozy

This cabin is easily the best one I've stayed in. Nice backyard, roomy bathroom and very comfy furniture. Also a nice spacious backyard complete with a firepit and a firewood shed. Only real downside is that there's no cell reception, but it does have WiFi to compensate. I'd recommend anyone to stay here.

Perfect Cabin

The cabin is clean and well equipped. We stayed for 5 nights while turkey hunting and had a great trip. It’s very private and quiet which is nice. Not a complaint but it could use a rack or some hooks to hang clothing on to dry from the rain. All in all, highly recommended and will be a repeat customer.

VROB disappointed us

When we arrived at the site key was not there. The area cabin is in has no cell service. So we drove to were we could get service TaCalled VROB they tried to call host. Again cell service in area is not good. So host did not answer. Instead of VROB telling us to wait they cancelled our reservation and told us we had to use our own money to find somewhere to stay. They would reimburse later. They would not help us find another place we were on our own in a middle of nowhere. You cannot book for same day on VROB either so we started home. 40 minutes later the goat called he was in service able to get messages. He apologized for mix up and gave us the weekend free. We had a wonderful time a. This is second time we stayed at cabin and living e it

Nice clean cabin

Nice cabin but much prefer their other one. Upon walking into cabin and taking our suitcase to the bedroom at the very last second I noticed the big step down. I would have fallen and probably would have gotten a serious injury. I have had two knee replacements so steps are a challenge .perhaps a small caution sign about the step would be appreciated. The floors seem to be uneven or slightly slanted which kinda throws you off balance. The cabin was very clean, plenty of things to cook with. The outdoor grill was very slow to heat up and grill on. Again I would very much stay at the other cabin as this one was a bit of a challenge for me
