Getting ready to head out for drill sergeant academy and needed something to clear my mind and relax before it starts. Came to Geneva on the lake for bike week and weather was a bit of a drag but overall a great stay. Thank you
Property was clean and very nice. We stayed there so we could visit the D-day re-enactment in Conneaut Oh.. We also took a tour of the covered bridges. Very nice area.
Really nice cottage overall. Was just a 2 minute walk to the waters edge although it was corroded from the storms we disnt mind it too bad. Jeff is a great host as well. Never had tto call him becaise we never needed a thing. We will be ba k.
We wanted a place to stay while visiting with family in the area and wanted to bring our dog. This cottage was just what we were looking for. The house is smallish, but comfortable, with plenty of amenities (washer/drier, fast internet, cosey furniture) and parking at the house. When a big storm came through and knocked out power for 24 hours, Jeff was in constant communication with us and MetEd with updates on how the repairs were going. Highly recommend!
Property is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Beds are comfortable, water pressure is excellent. Jeff is very responsive and pleasant to deal with. We would be happy to stay here again.
Our group of friends stayed for one night to go to the Great Lakes Medieval Festival. We slept 2 in one bed, one in the other bed, and one on the couch. The tv, fridge, and the multiple ac units made us feel comfortable and like we had enough room to sprawl out. We asked the host for a couple specific things and he accommodated and was very friendly.
This was our 2nd year . The place was cozy and made you feel at home. The owner Jeff is great in communicating. We met some neighbors who were so nice. 10 minutes away is the Strip where you shop, eat outside by the lake and listen to some cool music. A lovely new restaurant just opened right next door. We wanted to eat there but it was there opening. It was all reserved. Neighbors said it was wonderful. Staying here is a great choice. We’ll definitely be back soon. Ty for everything!
The cottage was a welcoming sight, but no surprise! It was exactly as Jeff, the host, described it. The cottage was clean, quaint and cozy! Don’t let the picture of the outside of the cottage fool you. The cottage may look small from the outside, but it is actually quite roomy and inviting in the inside. The weather was in the high 90’s, yet the cottage remained cool with the use of the ceiling fans and air conditioners. The cottage offered all the amenities that you would need, plus a welcome chocolate bar and note from Jeff. There was also a side deck to the cottage that had chairs, small table and grill. We did not take advantage of this area , due to the extreme heat.
Ashtabula itself, was quaint and the people were extremely friendly. The host left nice suggestions for restaurants, beaches and to-do attractions.
Parking was limited to one vehicle in front of the cottage, but had access to additional parking not far from the cottage.
There was also a small bluff area with benches, which was nice to sit and enjoy the lake view and/ or sunset.
The cottage was ver homey and relaxing with a “lake home” vib. The host was very nice and responded quickly if I had a question. It was just what I needed!

Thank you Jeff for making my stay very comfortable and relaxing. It was better than i expected. When i come back to the area, i would definately stay again.
Overall, it was a very cute cottage, cozy, and the owner was very responsive. Very close to Walnut Beach, gas stations, and Geneva. Short walk to a scenic view with beautiful sunsets!
The property was clean and comfortable & had everything we needed in kitchen and bathroom. The owner was great to work with. It was much smaller than we thought - not really suited for a family. Better suited for 2 or 3 adults. Nice location near the lake, but driving in and out was difficult and parking was painful.
Great location. Very comfortable well equipped cottage. 2 bedrooms with one being loft style open to the living space below. Fine for friends sharing. Only thing I’d change is carpeting in the bathroom.

We enjoyed our stay - 2 couples. It was a good location along our route. Enjoyed a great dinner at Alessandro’s Italian. Thanks for the comfy accommodations.
My family decided last minute to spend the night when visiting Geneva-On-the Lake. So happy we decided to stay here. It was very homey! Jeffrey was a great contact with lots of information on the area. Hope to come back again!
