This is an excellent little getaway with a great owner. The photos are accurate and the host is very helpful and accommodating. He makes the vacation as relaxing as possible - he helped organize transport to and from the airport; he organized a boat trip around the islands with Peter for us (highly recommend this); gave us a recommendations list and upon arrival, provided us with a welcome pack of some food and drink. The apartment itself is clean, spacious and well-maintained. Plenty of outdoor seating areas (balcony, back patio, around the pool and a few tucked away spots). It has A/C in every room and two well-stocked bathrooms. The pool is perfect for unwinding at the end of a day's sightseeing or, just generally chillaxing. The apartment overlooks the Old Town. Yes, it is a 10 minute walk down to the town but its well worth it for the views. Coming back up, Ubers are easy to get and cost about 7 Euros. The stairs down take you directly to the local shops, a few restaurants and one of the gates to the Old Town. Walking around Old Town is easy but I would recommend rubber soled shoes as some of the cobbles/paving can be a bit slippery. Once inside the gate, access to the ferrry to Lokrum is right there as well as one end of the main street in Old Town. There are lots of good restaurant options in Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik is a great, relaxing vacation destination and this apartment is the ideal base from which to explore it. Highly recommend.

Fantastic property and great hosts

Everything was perfect. The views from the balcony and the pool are breathtaking, the hosts were thoughtful and always wanting to help and the facilities were great. Nice little touches such as food and wine for our arrival, plentiful towels and nice decor made the stay in a beautiful city even more enjoyable. We genuinely could not have asked for a better experience. Yes there are a lot of steps to the old town but it takes 5-10 minutes only and it is more than worth it for the views. The availability of the Ubers and the cheap cost (£5) to get back up to the apartment rather than walking up the steps meant it did not detract from the lovely apartment.
