Beautiful home built in 1901 with modern amenities!!! Very nice place to relax!!! Would recommend it to anyone in the need of a place to stay in the Stone Mountain area!!!!
Perfect. Our 3rd time. Perfect. Cozy. Just like home. And flexible for our schedule!!!All different rooms to isolate kids from adults or adults from adults. And the local restaurant-Cherokee rose is just amazing. Just half a block away.
This is a really nice place to stay. It was fun to stay in a REALLY old house. There were snacks and bottled water left for us, which was a nice treat after flying so far. The house has a nicely updated kitchen and laundry, if you need that. We mostly ate just down the street in the local restaurants. I'd recommend the Stoned Pizza place, and the Live Oak place, both of which were good (my only quibble with both is they serve their diet coke in a can - in America we deserve free refills, otherwise why did our ancestors sacrifice so much?). Also, the miniature chair museum across the street is kinda fun, in a quirky way.All together, I'd put this in the top 10 percent of rentals we have done. The only thing Id change is to add a hand rail on the front steps. They are a bit irregular.
This Stone Mountain Historic Village property was a lovely place to stay! It was clean, quiet, well-appointed with everything we could need and had multiple sitting areas, both inside and outside, to relax and enjoy. The property was very welcoming. When we arrived, there was soft music playing, cold water and wine in the fridge along with snacks and a coffee station. These things were much appreciated after our long journey on I-85. Ann, our host, thought of everything!

Thank you for the nice review, Shanda. Please come again anytime!!
One of the best places we stayed. Very charming and unique house that is a great location to everything. Ann outdid herself with hospitality. We came into a clean house with snacks, coffee, beverages including wine and beer. I never stayed at a place that was so welcoming. We needed nothing and the outside spaces were perfect. All the necessities were provided. I cannot wait to come again! Amazing and top notch on everything. First place we stayed where host just had us take out garbage. Well done Ann! Looking forward to coming back!!!
We had a very comfortable stay! The house was very impressive, decorated beautifully, and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay! The location is excellent for visiting Stone Mountain Park….just minutes away! The host was very accommodating as well. We will stay in this rental again the next time we visit the area!
Amazing property old home with lots of character decorated for Christmas and it was spectacularFamily and great times 1000% recommend staying here. It’s our second time of the property.
This is a great place in a great location. There is a ton of space, and it’s very cozy. We had 3 kids (2 toddlers) with us and were very comfortable. You can walk out the front door and be right on Main Street with many restaurants and bars. Only one mile away from Stone Mountain Park. The house is equipped with everything you need and has plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. Host is very communicative and helpful. We will definitely be back!
Everything was great. The host was very nice. She even made us brownies and left a nice welcome note. The property was very nice and clean and there was plenty of space for medium sized groups. The neighborhood was also great with nice restaurants and good atmosphere.
This house has so much character. So many places to sit. Saw a mother & her fawn right by back deck. Two mornings in a row! Location perfect. Owner was spot on in communication. Check in hassle free. Stone mountain hike is fantastic. People in this small town are so friendly. Good vibes all around
What a wonderful property! Everything was beautiful and super nice. Our hostess left us a stocked coffee bar and some snacks. The beds were super comfortable and there were some nice restaurants within walking distance. The property owner was very easy to communicate with and the house was very clean. Would definitely recommend.
We loved the house! It was so cute and clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the location too as it is walking distance to places to eat and Main Street. We will for sure stay there again we loved it!
This trip was very important. I traveled to see my daughter and granddaughters who live in Stone mountain. My daughter just finished treatment for stage 3 cancer and we wanted to stay somewhere we could just be together. The home was beautiful! Very welcoming and comfortable. It was clean and very well equipped. The only items i couldn't find were a can opener and a blender (not a deal breaker). We bought a can opener and left it there. There was a problem with the air conditioner but Ann acted immediately and a repairman was on site within a couple hours. I got to meet our host Ann and she couldn't have been sweeter. She was very apologetic about the very slight inconvenience. We arrived fairly late at night and gained entry thru a lockbox. We spent the entire 5 days in and around the house. The house had more charm than can be put into a few words, including the secret garden. A true 100 yr old home with all the modern conveniences. All appliaces worked, nice fluffy towels, a personalized welcome sign and a welcome basket with treats as well as bottled water. 2 types of coffee makers, coffee and even hot chocolate for the kids. Lots of board games (we played Mystery Date). Tons of movies of all kinds. There are village shops within walking distance and a pub that plays live music (rockabilly) that we could enjoy from the back porch. It stopped by 9 or 10 pm. The beds were comfy. We felt very safe. I'll be back! If i could give 10 stars i would. Thanks Ann!
