Perfect LA Getaway

We had a lovely stay at the crow’s nest! The place was very clean and had everything we needed to feel right at home! The view was spectacular and a great location. Close to everything we wanted to do (sunset Blvd, Hollywood Blvd, universal studios, Warner brothers studio tour), yet far enough away it felt truly relaxing. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting LA!

We loved our experience from the beginning to the end. The space has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view is incredible! We enjoyed the added touches of games, books, coffee, and outdoor space for working out. It was just the two of us and we had plenty of space. The porch overlooking the city and hills is simply incredible.

Was expecting more for the money paid. The view ws nice, and the location was near family and friends, but the apt. was just OK. Bathroom was very old design and a disappointment. Kitchen didn't have an oven, toaster, or dishwasher which made cooking meals extremely difficult, so didn't bother.

Wonderful stay in Laurel Canyon

Located in beautiful Laurel Canyon. This VRBO has easy access to all the best parts of Los Angeles. The hosts were the best. The views were outstanding. You can literally see the Hollywood sign from the giant windows. The roads aren't awesome, but I brought a motorcycle on a trailer and drove my truck, so they aren't that bad. The hosts made everything super convenient. Access to the house was easy, there's a washer and dryer, there's a garage, it's in a safe area. And I know I've mentioned the view already, but... really... go just for the view. It's amazing.

Magic in the Hollywood Hills

There are not enough good things to say about this property! From the moment you walk down the stairs into the space it’s an absolutely magical moment. The views are out of this world and the property feels so peaceful and special even in the midst of a bustling city. Josh also made the trip very easy, from quick communication before our arrival to easy access to the house via the remote app for the garage. It is also so valuable to have had that parking spot in a rental in the hills, and to always be able to go home and not have to worry about where to park or walking to your room! The space was also wonderfully stocked, from coffee to water to blankets and even a collection of books and trinkets that felt very special to the space. If we ever go back to L.A. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and I absolutely would encourage anyone else to do the same!

The View!

Very quiet and peaceful area up high in the winding hills of Laurel Canyon. Owners are extra accommodating by letting us use the garage while they parked outside. Wife and I really enjoyed the place. Hope to stay there next time we are in LA.

Born and raised LA native that got lucky and was able to score our own little slice of heaven in these enchanted hills of Hollywoodland. Been here since 2005 and think everyone should have the opportunity to really soak in these epic views and magic hills at least once in their life. Don't be a stranger, come on up and enjoy the view, some say it's the best in town!

Why they chose this property

The Nest:
While this 1200+sf space is best utilized for couples, it can accommodate up to 3 additional guests with a convertible sofa bed in living room and a futon in the Zen Den (converted walk-in). Please also note that this bedroom layout is a more open/studio floorplan than an enclosed traditional bedroom.

This is the entire bottom floor of our 3 story home. It is a completely private and self-contained pied-à-terre apartment/guest suite with your own secured parking space and private entrance via the garage and over 500sf of contiguous wraparound balcony/outdoor space with expansive views.
