The house(s) were perfect. Amazing spaces, great amount of toys on the property- highly recommend renting the boat with the house. All around an amazing experience.
Property was outstanding for hosting our very large family for a week. Beach was beautiful and fun for the young ones, while the boating on Silver Lake was great for the older kids. Lots of room to spread out on the property and Beth (property manager) was always responsive and helpful. Property is exactly like the pictures. Can’t wait to stay again!
Perfect house on Silver Lake just 15 minutes from downtown Traverse....lots of space both indoors and outdoors, great for hanging out with a bunch of friends or family!
The property manager Beth was very responsive. Silver Lake is a nice experience. Spring fed with a nice shoreline. We rented the pontoon to explore the lake and that was fun. Sleeping arrangements were fine for 9 people. It may be tight for above that. It was a hot week, the air conditioning in the room over the garage was warm, the house was fine. All in all, lots of smiles and memories!
This property is so beautiful! The available water toys were perfect for what we wanted to do. The flat top grill was a huge hit, and the kitchen very well stocked. Our stay was short but we were able to spend quality time together. Thank you for helping us make so many memories!
My group and I fell in love with this property. Whether you’re used to northern MI trips or looking for your first time…this had it all!
The host made it even that much better as she was super kind and accommodating. Always available. Such a private property as well with all the amenities you can ask for.
Thank you for a wonderful weekend.
The online pictures and description are very accurate. The houses are clean, and very well stocked. There are kayaks, paddle boards, sand toys, even a pontoon boat to rent, Kids can swim in the area off the beach. The outside chairs are plentiful and the area stays shady for those wanting to be out of the sun. Overall this is a quiet peaceful and beautiful spot to rent in MI.Beth is easy to contact.
13 of us had a wonderful time in this cute property on the perfect secluded spot on Silver Lake. It was perfect for my husband and I, 2 married children and their spouses, 3 adult children, a teenager, and 3 toddler grandchildren. Our favorite activity was taking the pontoon boat out on the lake. The shaded, secluded beach was perfect. We only left the property once, to get ice cream in town We made good use of the griddle.
My extended family (9 people ages 9-70) stayed at this property for the week of 4th of July. The property is private with great views of the lake. The house had everything we needed for a great stay…kayaks, paddle boards, boat, board games and more. We had a great time and we’re happy with how quick Beth was tk respond to questions. Highly recommend!
....so almost everything, especially the beach, was a very pleasant surprise. We had 4 families and with the use of blowups, we managed quite well and truly enjoyed our one week stay. Perhaps the only exceptions were the small size of the 3rd bedroom in the main house... and the 90 heat put a strain on the Guest house AC and made the bunk house unusable...sending those using looking for floor space elsewhere. A couple of small maintenance issues were handled immediately by our Host. Everything is a price/value decision nowadays, but we all agreed we would definitely stay here, again.
Our family of 8 (ages 5-79) plus 2 dogs had a great vacation week here. There is a small sandy beach complete with sand toys which the 5 year old enjoyed immensely. We all enjoyed kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding and just relaxing at the lakeside. The amenities in the house were plentiful and the game room was a real hit. The two problems we had were responded to by Beth promptly and kindly. We can highly recommend this property.
Beautiful and rustic home. Rustic but not old. Appliances are pretty new. Had a great grill on the deck overlooking the lake we took advantage of using. Very clean and well maintained. My family and I were very comfortable during the blustery weekend there. Location is close to Traverse city which was very convenient for shopping & dining.
Would absolutely stay there again.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Exquisite Estate on Silver Lake. Beth, the manager, was very helpful throughout the entire process. The houses are large and spacious. Having two complete houses and a bunk house with plenty of indoor and outdoor entertaining space really worked well for us. We used the provided kayaks and paddle boards a lot and were glad that they provide all sizes of life jackets. You can fish right off the dock and catch large and small mouth bass. We had a great time!
Our family of 12 ranging in age from 79 to 6 months old spent a week at this beautiful property. Everyone had a great time from enjoying the lake view to kayaking and water boarding. Even when it rained, the kids were able to enjoy the games like air hockey and the many board games available. We also rented the pontoon boat and the family enjoyed going out on the lake. The property is well equipped and we appreciated having some of the basics like coffee and tea and paper products readily available which added to the convenience. We loved this place and highly recommend it. The property manager Beth was very responsive and very pleasant.
There is something for everyone in this lovely home. When the weather is not so great there are games to satisfy all ages. The kayaks, canoe and paddle boards were enjoyed when the weather permitted. The 5 year old in our family group thoroughly enjoyed the beach with all the beach toys while the rest of us relaxed waterside. The house itself is very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. It was nice having the use of the guest house also. We all agreed it was a great place to stay and hope to return. Any concerns we had were taken care of by Beth who was a delight to meet. Thanks to all.
This is our 4th trip to traverse city and summer’s landing was the most unique property. This is not a cookie cutter Mc Mansion. It looks to be built by a master carpenter with many one of a kind features. It really is more of an estate compound with multiple homes and gathering places. Very private area of the lake where it seemed like we had the beach to ourselves. The Dempsey are gracious owners and Beth was the most accommodating and responsive manager we have had. 5 stars is not enough. Thank you
The property was perfect for our large family!! Very unique and Charming..All the amenities the house has is incredible. Two fully stocked kitchens and an awesome grill helped tremendously as we cooked almost every night! The outdoor shower to rinse off after days on the beach and in the lake was a huge plus! And of course the Pontoon Boat was everything!! Another added bonus was all the Kayaks and Paddle Boards. I'm pretty sure there was 3 paddle boards and 4 kayaks, and a canoe! The beds are also very comfortable. The property's location is a huge bonus too, allowing us to get into town in less than 30 minutes, close to wineries, cherry picking, and 40 minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes. Would definitely Book this property again in the future! Thank you for sharing your house with us!! We created so many memories we'll never forget!
Our family stayed here for our annual traverse wine trip.
Everything from the view, to the comfort of the beds, to the cleanliness was outstanding. We just wished it wasnt so cold and windy. But the gas fireplace in the main house helped make things cozy inside. That thing kicks out the heat! We did notice if the doors that lead to the bedrooms are open when the fireplace is on...the bedrooms get cold cause the main part of the house gets so warm, the thermostat shuts off?. So. We kept the bedrooms closed off and it seemed to help.? For whatever reason...just fyi...We wanted to spend more time outdoors but it was chillier and more windy than years past... But we WILL be back. Beth was super sweet, prompt and helpful with anything we needed.
Very beautiful location!!!
We loved our stay at this property. We were a party of 14 people and the accommodations were just about the right size for us. One child had to sleep on the couch and another one slept on an air mattress on the floor. Once they accepted that, everything was fine and truth be told they loved being up late playing video games while everyone else was sleeping. The property was beautiful. We loved all the different levels and seating areas. The view of the water was so nice. The paddle boards and kayaks were put to good use. Some enjoyed collecting rocks from the waters edge. We set up a pickle ball net on the driveway and had tournaments a couple of nights. I think everyone agreed that one of the favorite things to do was to just sit on the deck enjoying coffee and breakfast. Before we knew it, it was already afternoon!! We all said we definitely want to come back again next summer.
The house was very clean. No weird smells or anything!! Just about everything we needed was provided. We did find some pieces of broken glass on the grassy area in front of the seating area by the beach. We think it was from a broken lightbulb on the string of lights on the deck. Some were walking barefoot down there, but luckily we saw the glass and cleaned it up before anyone stepped on it.
All in all - we all have nothing but positive things to say about Summers Landing and we have all been texting that we already miss it!!
The property was absolutely beautiful and so spacious! Beth the Host communicated immediately and was very helpful with instructions up front prior to arrival! I would highly recommend this wonderful location for a memorable FUN vacation! It was awesome!
