Experience the perfect Northern Michigan getaway at our spacious Bass Lake home. Boasting 188 feet of private lakefront and 55 feet of pristine sandy beach, this west-facing property offers front-row seats to the most incredible sunsets in the region. Whether you’re here for summer lake days or a cozy winter ski trip, this is the ultimate destination for making lifelong memories.

The Space

With 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and 2 full-sized refrigerators, we are perfectly equipped for multi-generational families and large groups.

Capacity: Accommodates 12 adults plus two guests aged 15 or under.

The Beach: Private sandy beach with a dock and a large rock fire pit for s’mores under the stars.

Free Amenities: Use of 3 kayaks included (available April–October).

Endless Entertainment

Rain or shine, there is always something to do! Our home features:

Game Room Fun: Multi-game Arcade (Galaga, Ms. Pac-Man), Golden Tee, Foosball table, and a Ping Pong table and Darts in the garage.

Family Time: A wide selection of board games and cards for cozy nights in.

Bass Lake is a clean, spring-fed, all-sport lake that puts you in the heart of Northern Michigan’s best attractions:

Interlochen Center for the Arts (5 miles): Ideal for concert-goers and families of performers.

Crystal Mountain (14 miles): The perfect "home base" for your winter ski trips.

Traverse City (25 miles): Easy access to downtown shopping, dining, and festivals.

Day Trips: Short drives to Sleeping Bear Dunes and the stunning shores of Lake Michigan.

Guest Support: I am available by phone, and our local property manager lives next door to resolve any issues within 2–24 hours.

Seasonality: Docks are winterized depending on weather.

Larger Groups: The property is shared with a charming cabin next door, which is also available for rent if you need additional space.

Great hole for families or even groups

Loved the proximity to Crystal Mountain and Traverse City. We were there in the winter so no lake fun, but I’m sure that would be even better. Highly recommend this place.

Perfect spot for our big family. Weather wasn’t great to enjoy the outdoors but the home provided lots to do inside. Many kudos to the ping pong table and indoor video games!

We had a great time at the lake. It was a small lake, but the fishing was decent, and there was very little traffic. Given the opportunity, I will definitely stay here again.

Yearly family vacation

Great experience. We enjoyed the quiet serene surroundings. The cabin was roomy, with many separate areas to gather. The beach/lake was wonderful for the warm days that we experienced.

We enjoyed this place a lot. The kitchen was large and accommodated our family. The lower level bunk room worked well for singles and we had plenty of bathrooms. Great Lake view.

Feeling like home

This is a hidden gem of a place that I would book again and again. The sunsets were amazing, the lake was perfect, and the home a great place to celebrate family with fun! We loved it and Andrew the owner is a great person to deal with.

Slice of Heaven!

Just got back from a 4 night stay and am blown away by this property. Spacious, extremely clean and has everything you need for a great beachfront vacation. Days were spent swimming, canoeing, paddling and fishing! Thank you for an AMAZING trip! Will definitely be booking again (and again)!

It fit our group of four families nicely. The only con would be the check out process. There's a lot to get done in a short amount of time the day you leave. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Stay

We had 24 family members staying here for a girls weekend. The bunk room was a major hit, the long benches with the dining room table was another bonus. The kids enjoyed the tree house, adults enjoyed sitting on the deck. Plenty of bathrooms and fridge space for this large group. Great stay over all and I would return!

This place is beautiful! Sleeps a ton of people very comfortably. Neat and clean, well maintained, set on a peacful lake. Andy was very helpful with any questions we had. He’s a great host! Will plan on booking his place again!!

Wonderful Place

Everything was exactly as shown and stated. Andrew was very attentive to make sure our stay was excellent. Definitely would like to return in the summer and take advantage of the lake and beach. Great for family or group reunion. Very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and small appliances.
