Tybee Retreat`s condo #1 offers an open-concept living space that is tastefully decorated and fully equipped with all the comforts of home. The comfortably furnished living space opens to a covered patio with a teak dining table and chairs, perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze. Come and enjoy!

Getting Around: You won`t have to drive anywhere; simply park for free and go and enjoy the beach, bars, shops, and restaurants the island has to offer. Tybee Retreat has a total of 4 condo units, each with covered ground-level parking for 2 vehicles. Please note that oversized trucks and SUVs may not fit under this covered parking area. Tybee Retreat utilizes security cameras at the front of the building to ensure guest safety at the street level.
Other Things to Note: High-speed WIFI is available throughout the property. Checkout time 10:00 AM Prior to checkout: 1.) Please take all trash to the trash carts in the front of the property. 2.) Very nice, clean, roomy place to stay. Great location walking distance to everything. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again. Property management did a great job with communicating.
Great location. Perfect for our short stay in Tybee. Rented two condos side by side and it was perfect being right next door to the rest of our family.
This home was the perfect getaway for Easter. Close to the beach and restaurants and the kitchen was well stocked. The only thing missing was a can opener. The beds were comfortable and the home was nicely decorated. Plenty of parking.
Condo was as described, very accessible with an elevator to our floor. Fully stocked with towels and kitchen items to cook with if staying in to eat breakfast or dinner. Parking under unit was deep enough for two cars and a 6 seater golf cart. Had one small request needed for the handicapped tenant and the request was handled promptly within an hour. Very close proximity to beach, shops, Tybee Pier, and restaurants. (Go across the road to Pier 16 to eat! You won’t be disappointed.).
Even though the weather did not cooperate, the weekend was GREAT!
The condo was very clean and the perfect size for us! The location was great too, just far enough from all the congestion. Check in and out was easy. We usually make about three trips to Tybee every year and usually stay at the same beachfront facility everytime. We are already planning our next trip and staying at Tybee Retreat will be our first choice from now on!
The property was great. Very spacious for a family of 5 w/an infant. The location to the beach was perfect - less than a block walk (3 min walk). The owner was great with communication. Was able to answer questions very quickly. You could walk anywhere for food, shopping and activities. The listing is exactly what you should expect. We will def be back.
The condo was as advertised. Things were clean and in working order except for the TVs. There was no cable service. Extra toilet paper and paper towel would have been nice, but it was stated in the writeup to bring extra.
Overall, we enjoy the location, price and amount of room.

This property was in a great location. The only issue was you hear everything that goes on in the unit above. There is no sound proofing. Also the front bedroom was 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the unit. This room would benefit from some blackout curtains since you see all the lights outside even when the blinds are closed.
This condo was exactly as listed. The house was clean and tidy except the floors needed to be ran over with a mop. The pipes under the sink were not connected causing water to come up through the floor boards. I reached out to the host, who responded immediately. Everything else was great! I highly recommend.
The property was in good condition.It was clean. It was a short walk to the beach.There were a few things that were disappointing. The 3rd bedroom had no TV. The kitchen cookware was somewhat limited. No sheetpans for baking. The guests in the unit above us were extremely noisy during our entire stay. There was bumping and thumping on the floor upstairs that we heard all during the day and night. We bumped on the ceiling with the broom handle to try to let them know the noise was disturbing us..
but it did not stop.
The location was ideal. We stayed on the lower level and our friends stayed upstairs. Perfect combination of closeness and privacy. We wished we had been a bit more organized earlier and rented out the entire building.
The elevator was very useful for moving in with luggage, groceries, and guests with compromised mobility.
There were a couple of issues with the furnishings. The living room television was not connected to the internet and was therefore not operable. The ottoman/coffee table was very worn and damaged. There was a portion of the frame missing, as if it had been removed after it split or was chewed by a dog (?).
The kitchen had most everything we needed, and the cabinets had helpful labels telling us where things belonged.
The showers had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The laundry facilities were terrific, but only one detergent pod was provided. Likewise, only one dishwasher tablet was provided.
The beds were adequate. The linens and pillows were pretty mediocre.
By far the thing that would’ve made our stay better would be a renter’s guide. Important contact information was posted, but nothing about trash pickup, recycling, how to operate televisions, etc. I appreciated that there were no stringent rules about cleaning procedures for check out (properties that expect guests to extensively clean while charging an exorbitant fee for housekeeping are a pet peeve of mine), but some details about how to best enjoy our stay would be nice.
Me, my wife and our children and their college roommates truly enjoyed staying at Unit 1, 15 17th Place #1, Tybee Island, GA. The host Mr. Joseph Giles is caring Property Owner. We look forward to visiting with you again!
The property was great. Great location to the beach and walking to the shops. We didn't have to move our vehicles at all. The property manager Joseph was quick to reply to my messages. All thumbs up. 👍
