At the foot of the Lacs de la Forêt d’Orient, 25 minutes from Troyes and 2 hours from Paris, come stay in this spacious, historic home where Napoleon set up his headquarters in 1814. A spacious house with a landscaped garden located in a village where you’ll find all the amenities you need (bar, tobacco shop, restaurants, convenience store, pharmacy, doctors, bank, bakery, playground, soccer field)... Many activities nearby: forest walks, swimming, sandy beach, restaurants, pedal boats, water sports (jet skis, license-free boats), golf, fishing, tree-top adventure courses, skydiving, and numerous bike paths to explore around the lakes. Nigloland, in downtown TROYES, with its charm and half-timbered houses, is just 25 minutes away. You can also visit wine cellars and the Napoleon Museum... On the first floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a living/dining room, and a double bedroom accessible to guests with limited mobility, featuring a private bathroom (shower, sink, toilet) and a TV. Upstairs, the cottage features 3 bedrooms with double beds (140 × 190 cm), one twin bedroom (2 beds measuring 90 × 190 cm), and 2 bathrooms with bathtubs, sinks, and toilets. Outside, enjoy a large enclosed courtyard with parking, two terraces (one of which is covered and equipped with a barbecue), an enclosed garden, lounge chairs, a laundry room, and a restroom. Bedding, towels, and household linens are provided. Beds are not made upon your arrival, unless requested (for example, in case of a late arrival). Heating, electricity, and end-of-stay cleaning are included. Pets are welcome at no extra charge.
