The apartment is on the ground floor of the house of the director of former silk mill and is a Non smoking apartment. It has a living room, bedroom, bathroom with shower / toilet, a separate kitchen and a garden terrace. We are among the few hosts in the old town, which can provide you with a private car park. It is centrally located and quiet. Within walking distance of the market square and in 10 minutes the swimming pool in 3-5 minutes.
The 48 square meters apartment in the living room offers an additional sofa bed, 1,6m x 2,0m. You already see before extensive information material to the region. Bed linen, towels and kitchen towels are provided. Final cleaning is included in the price.
Please understand that in the house a total smoking ban exists and no pets are allowed. Until 2021, during the holiday season, you can only book on a weekly basis, because 2 school-age children still have to be cared for.

Monschau is a beautiful town my wife and I stayed for 9 days in May. Wolfgang and his sons took care of any thing we need from arrival to the day we left. we had plenty of local information and all the items we needed for our stay. Saubere, ordentliche, gut ausgestattete Unterkunft mit dem Charme älterer Häuser in einem ebensolchen Umfeld. Enge, steile Straßen und Kopfsteinpflaster lassen einen eine Zeitreise machen. Leider kaum Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vor Ort. Empfehlenswert!

Die Wohnung liegt etwas abseits vom Trubel und am Hang, oberhalb der Stadt. Alles sauber und komplett. Der Vermieter gibt hilfreiche Tipps, was man machen und auch besser lassen sollte. Wir haben das verlängerte Wochenende genossen und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Great lodgings in a fairytale setting

We stayed here with our one year old daughter. Wolfgang was a wonderful host and gave us a good overview of the history of Monschau. Beds were very comfortable, and we had everything we needed to be able to cook a few meals. We enjoyed taking evening walks in the village, even with the walk up the hill to get back! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

A perfect restful holiday

The house from Wolfgang is situated in the heart of Monschau, just 3 minutes walking from the busy center. Amazing place, very clean and warm. The communication with the owner was a pleasure, always friendly and careful. Just in 10 minutes drive, we found a big Lidl, in case if you want something specials or forget something. In the center of Monschau, there are nice identical restaurants. And with the advice of Wolfgang, we had the tastiest dinners. Nature in that region is an apart world if you like silence and extremely fresh air. It's a beauty that must be seen once in your life. It's a place for a restful holiday also as an active one. For sure we return back to Monschau and especially to the house if Wolfgang. Don't hesitate if you search for a cozy, sweet place for accommodation.

Gutes im eigenen Land

Warum in die Ferne schweifen, wenn das Gute liegt so nah?! Ein feines Domizil inmitten eines Tourismus-Zentrums und dennoch ruhig gelegen. Eine saubere Unterkunft mit zuvorkommendem Hausherrn, gute Erklärungen bekommend für Ausflüge - sehr kooperativ und freundlich!!

zentrale, saubere Wohnung - toller Ausgangspunkt für Monschau!

Drei Tage in Monschau, drei Tage mit den Kindern der Familie Weber. Leider konnten wir den Gastgeber nicht kennenlernen, wünschen Ihm aber alles erdenklich gute für die Gesundheit! Sein Sohn hat uns willkommen geheißen und alles gezeigt. Wir waren begeistert von der zentralen Lage der Wohnung (direkt an der Haltestelle Parkhaus und keine zwei Minuten vom Zentrum weg) und der Sauberkeit. Die Wohnung ist groß, mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet, lässt sich notfalls leicht heizen und hat ein sehr angenehmes Bett. Die Küche funktioniert einwandfrei. Sollte man sich zum Fernsehen gucken entscheiden, muss man ein wenig rätseln, wie dieser funktioniert. Mit Geduld klappt aber auch das. Leider hat das Internet nicht funktioniert. Alles in Allem waren wir wirklich sehr zufrieden. Danke, liebe Familie Weber!

Danke für die Kritik. Ich werde meine Jungen wohl noch etwas "nachschulen" müssen, damit unseren Gästen auch in einem Notfall alles problemlos zur Verfügung steht. Das Internet funktioniert überall leider nur mit dem richtigen Passwort. Dieser Fehler ist behoben und ich werde eine Checkliste für meine Jungs und eine Bedienungsanleitung für die Wohnung schreiben. Entschuldigung für die Mängel und es freut mich, dass es doch noch ein schöner Urlaub geworden ist.

Sehr schönes Wochenende in Monschau in "alten Direktorenhaus"

Am letzten Wochenende konnten wir zwei sehr schöne Tage in Monschau verbringen und das in einer sehr schönen, sehr sauberen und gepflegten Ferienwohnung! Herr Weber hat sich als ausgezeichneter und sympathischer Vermieter gezeigt mit viel Wissen und Tipps über Monschau und der Umgebung. Wior konnten auf Grund der Kürze der Zeit nicht alles machen, was wir aber nachholen und werden selbstverständlich gerne wieder die Wohnung bei Familie Weber wieder mieten. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können Familie Weber nur weiter empfehlen!

Een wat ouder huis, maar alles werkt en is schoon.

De huisbaas is een gezellig iemand en mag graag een praatje maken. Geeft allerlei tips. Het huis staat op enkele minuten lopen van het drukke centrum. Er is gelukkig een privé parkeerplaats. Wel redelijk klein. Even passen en meten, maar dan ben je je auto kwijt voor de deur. Dat is wel bijzonder midden in het centrum dat verder alleen toegankelijk is voor aanwonenden. Het aanvoerstraatje is zeer smal. Hopelijk geen tegenliggers!!! Er is een afgesloten ruimte voor 2 fietsen. De Vennbahnradweg ligt ongeveer op 1 km. Je komt via de voordeur in een halletje. Daar is de toegang tot het vakantieappartement en een trap naar boven voor de bewoners op de verdieping. Het huis blijft bij warm weer lekker koel. In de keuken is alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt, zelfs een vaatwasser. Handdoeken en theedoeken zijn aanwezig.Er is Wifi en ook een tv. Het grote 2-pers bed heeft uitstekende matrassen. Mijn vrouw en ik waren zeer tevreden

Great appartment, friendly host, lovely view

We had a great time staying at the appartment of the Weber family. The host Wolfgang is very friendly and welcoming. he helped us out with good suggestions for walking and restaurants. He knows the town and the environment very well. Appartment is situated in a traditional Monschauer house with a nice view over the old town. It is spacious, clean and the kitchen is well equipped. You can park your car right in front of the appartment in the old town, everything you need is within walking distance. Highly recommended.
