Amazing little cabin that was a perfect getaway. Dawn was such a great host, and we spent most of our time fishing in the river across the street. We will definitely come back to stay here again!

Great little spot to stay in. Wifi was a plus. Got a little chilly due to the windows being older, but they had heaters and blankets to use. Thanks for the hospitality. It made our trip to attend a wedding so much easier.

Very relaxing stay, Dawn and Johnny were wonderful hosts. They were very friendly and very accommodating of my wifes mobility limitations. The fishing was very good even with the rain and thundestorms which we enjoyed on the cabins large covered porch. We will definitely rebook!

Owner appears to be making improvements with new grill, bed. I would suggest new refrigerator next; this one was noisy. Also a pressure wash of the deck would be an easy improvement. Fishing was great and the owners top notch.

The property was so pretty. We were on the side of a mountain with beautiful trees. We were so close to the river and had private access. The cabin, itself, was so cute, quaint, and. We went fly-fishing with a guide and saw deer and chipmunks. It was an amazing experience.

This experience was beyond disappointing. We rented for Easter weekend. We get there on check in day and the owner forgets to leave the key and was out of town. Once we get in we notice an awful smell, like mold and dirty mop water. We open doors and windows to air out. My daughter goes to use the bathroom and there is poop, pee and pubic hairs on the toilet seat. The shower also has hair and dirt. We message the owner and send photos and he apologizes and states he sent a new cleaner. We then check the beds and the bed sheets were not washed and were filled with animal and human hair. We then got the best surprise, there was a cat living in the cabin. At this point we knew it wasn’t safe to stay here. We let the owner and Vrbo know and sent photos. Then we re load all of our items and put our kids back in the car for a two hour drive back home. The owner sends a message to provide a full refund, but yet only refunds part of the stay and Vrbo continues to say, “wait for the owner.” I’m appalled that any family would even be questioned about money being held in a situation like this. & if they his is hard to believe. See the photos yourself. Don’t bother trying to enjoy the mountains here. It will be your worst day and only a hassle.

Great experience. The hosts were gracious. Close to great hikes and streams. Could have used some more forks/knives, etc… but a 5-star experience in Terrero.

Quiet Cabin

Property owner ia very nice and accommodating. Woods to the back of the cabin and a 2 min short walk to the Pecos river for some fishing. I would definitely stay there again.
