Originally built in the 1830's, the Stone House at Red Barn was lovingly restored and modernized, mixing a fresh, modern design with features that honor the original structure. Located on the 10 acre grounds of the Red Barn Inn, this home is a full, private vacation home, equipped with everything you could ever want to make your vacation shine. Fire pit, back patio, and grill? Check! Modern home amenities, plush furnishings, and upscale decor? Check, check, and check! From the fully stocked kitchen and plentiful seating, to the abundance of televisions and array of bathrooms, the Stone House gets all the details right in helping you feel right at home. As a guest of the home, you get access to all the community amenities at the neighboring Waterfront Greens community, including the catch-and-release fishing pond, sledding hill in the winter, lake access swimming points, tennis courts, par 3 community golf course, and miniature golf course. Plus, you are nearby some of the best attractions at the lake, like Deep Creek Lake State Park!

Gym/ Pool Access: This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home's full occupancy.

* Winter Advisory: Deep Creek is a mountainous region that experiences more snowfall and ice than you may be used to. Many roads and driveways can be steep. 4WD/AWD vehicles are advised in the winter months. *

Great for families!

Check in is a code on the front door. Nicely equipped kitchen. Huge, well furnished outdoor patio. Gardens and waterfall feature are delightful. Great firepit. Our group of 12 found it delightful. Perfectly situated to the lake. Lots of amenities nearby.

Absolutely amazing!

We loved our stay at Red Barn Inn and the Stone House. Everything was clean, spacious, and the beds were sooo comfortable. It was simply perfect for our company retreat! We are already talking about planning our trip back next summer!

Stone House at Red Barn was Great!

We had 11 people staying for our annual family get-together between Christmas and new Year's. We have been staying at different places every year for over 30 years, and this was one of the best! Loved the cleanliness, number of bedrooms and bathrooms and the well-stocked kitchen!

Friendly weekend getaway

The entire process, from booking to check-out was absolutely seamless. The property was amazing, well kept, and clean. The house has amazing charm and was the perfect backdrop for a group of long-time friends to have a getaway. The text reminders, well-kept house information, and other features made this a much more enjoyable process of booking than with other properties I've experienced. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great place near Deep Creek!

Wonderful modern farmhouse

The farmhouse was immaculate upon arrival and check in and communication was smooth. The home is decorated beautifully with lots of space for us to spread out. All the beds were very comfortable with fresh white linens. We loved the outdoor fire pit and the host even provided a bundle of firewood :) Highly recommended this property, we will likely be back for a winter ski trip!

As Wonderful as I Remembered!

The Stone House at Red Barn is now our favorite space to visit to get rest in a beautiful space, as well as spend quality time with family! This is our second time visiting and it will NOT be our last! The space is always CLEAN and very inviting. Totally positive energy is felt throughout the home. Our visit to the farmhouse

Our family got rained out from a trip to South Carolina by tropical storm Debi. At the last moment, we found this on VRBO. I had my hesitancies as I owned a home on Deep Creek Lake for a number of years. The house is as advertised. The family had a great time, and everything went well.

I hugged a house

The Stone House; I'm still thinking of my stay at the Stone House! It was wonderful. I hugged the house when I entered because it was just so cute and charming. It had all the old fashioned fixtures that one has only read about; yet was ever so current. The enclosed porch was my favorite spot with the fire place …that whole space and view 🔥the upstairs deck off from the bedrooms too was a good spot to cuddle with a book, and I still had that view. I look forward to returning to the Stone House. It rehabilitated my heart and soul just being there. Thank you for sharing such an unique space.

A tranquil getaway

The pictures don't do this awesome getaway location justice. The tranquility of the area sets in when you wake up early in the morning with a cup of Joe either on the balcony or the heated porch and take in the scenic view as the wind gently caresses the still water. We loved as the stone house infrastructure sits in harmony with the green grass surrounding the pond next to the accent red barn with a calming background. We enjoyed the thoughtful touch-less hospitality of the Red Barn Inn which proactively anticipated and accommodated our needs and concerns. The mission if you choose to embark on this gateway, will be to have a relaxing vacation. By the middle of the gateway, you would assuredly hear yourself saying “Serenity now!!!!….”

Great rental - highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend! The house is just as described and was perfect for our family get together. Deep Creek has so much to offer and for those not staying directly on the lake, this property separates itself with some of the extras included (fishing pond and Par 3 golf course). Great communication from the owners - would definitely rent again!
