Excellent stay and beautiful property. Thanks to Sophie and Gauthier for making our stay go smoothly. The patio was an amazing feature to have, especially since you can go to the nearby markets and stores and bring back all kinds of Provençal goods and drinks.

Wonderful location. We walked every day to the center of Aix, to restaurants, to a bike rental shop, etc. We even found parking around the corner most days (closer than the decks).The living room and kitchen are spacious and comfortable. We watched a movie or two in the living room. The deck outside is lovely (lots of plants) and spacious but it was so hot during our visit that we didn't use it. Though we did use the hot tub a couple of times.One quirk of the property is that there are only two toilets and one of them is outside (next to the hot tub). So that was mildly inconvenient. One bathroom has a tub that is large but not really secured (so be careful getting in and out) and the only shower is in the other bathroom in the master bedroom. Having AC in all the bedrooms was very necessary in July so we were grateful for that (and didn't have it in other French properties we rented). Aix is a lovely town set in a lovely region for day trips, and this property was a great home base. I even enjoyed trying to learn a bit of French by reading the Asterix books.
