Moonrise Vacation Properties presents Bear Moon Rising, a contemporary retreat located in the Great Smoky Mountains cabin resort. Adventure-seekers and relaxation enthusiasts alike will find solace in this serene sanctuary. This cabin offers a wide array of entertainment options, including a year-round indoor pool, two hot tubs, and a game room complete with arcade games and an 8-foot pool table. Guests can also enjoy access to a community pool during the summer season.

Movie enthusiasts can delight in the theater room, featuring plush reclining couches, cozy blankets, pillows, an impressive 8-foot screen, surround sound, and an exceptional cinematic experience. Each of the five king bedrooms boasts a private bathroom, and one even features a queen-over-queen bunk bed. The top floor offers a twin-day bed with a trundle, as well as two queen sofa beds. All televisions are equipped with Spectrum cable and streaming capabilities for your entertainment needs.

Savor your morning coffee or evening beverage on one of the three expansive decks and breathe in the fresh mountain air. The primary deck is equipped with a TV and a fireplace (usable between November and March), allowing you to soak in the breathtaking panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin is everything we expected and more. There was 13 of us ranging in ages from 4-67 and there was something for everyone. Any issue we had was resolved very quickly. On our last morning we seen a momma bear and 3 cubs. Perfect way to end our great vacation. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

We had a great stay at Bear Moon Rising. Very well stocked and very clean. The space was great. We appreciated the double dishwashers and fully stocked kitchen. Also, the kids enjoyed the game room and indoor pool. The proximity to downtown was great. Overall, good place to stay. We would book again!

I don’t believe the listing does this cabin & the owners justice. It was amazing & so clean. The owners have gone above and beyond providing extras for our use. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a place for a large group. We also had a visiting bear the first day as soon as we arrived. I think he was welcoming us!

80th Birthday Getaway

Cabin was beautiful, clean, spacious, and work great for out getaway with the girls. Owners are quick to respond to questions and great hosts. Did see 1 bear while out walking but just turn the other way and no issues. Highly recommend for any large group.

After reviewing several cabins in Gatlinburg, I chose this cabin. It had everything I was looking for, for a family of 11 with all age groups. The cabin was at the end of the road so plenty of privacy, the game room supplied plenty of evening fun for the entire family. It was well stocked with supplies and there was plenty of room in the cabin, so we were not on top of each other. The hosts responded quickly if we had any questions. Also, the cabin was not far from any place we wanted to go. I would highly recommend this cabin for your next adventure.

Wonderful house for large families

House is beautiful. Listing is accurate. driveway is a little steep. Plenty of plates, utensils, cups, mugs and glasses to accommodate large families. Having dual refrigerators, dishwashers, and hot tubs was great. Beds were comfortable. Location to Gatlinburg was nice. Deck space was wonderful.

Wonderful host and an amazing house

Jaime was absolutely wonderful! Super friendly and accommodating. The house is beautiful and there was plenty to do right on the property. One of the best experiences I have had. If you have the opportunity to stay, definitely do so, you won't regret it!!

Half of arcade games worked. Tv's were pain to set up. Hard wood steps were dangerous with wet feet grandson fell and knocked out tooth. Access was horrible

The cabin was amazing and the amenities were top tier

The cabin was just as described. It was spacious enough for a crowd of 20 and were not on top of each other all day. There were plenty of things in there to keep the kids occupied. The host covered all the bases. They made sure everything needed for a stay was available all the way down to cooking oil and soap and shampoo in all the bathrooms. I would definitely book this cabin again
